I know cheapo bagpipes are terrible.. but for my 15 yr old nephew who is playing in a band, and guitar, drums etc... just looking for at least the BEST cheapest set I can get, without spending more than $250 (I know), but something moderately playable.... just to have a xmas present, and make my scottish mom happy. they all got back from a Scottish trip this summer. it'll probably also be a wall hanging in their UK themed pool table room.... Thanks

There simply isn’t a set that is playable for that price. This is the least expensive playable set available www.jhiggins.net/abp0-mccallum-plastic-bagpipes-acetyl-in-stock/ (starting at $825). Anything less expensive won’t be able to play. There are possibly used sets for less, but they’d need to be professionally set up…
