First you should get some of those pink berries to get satiated so you grow 50% faster, its really good for growing slow growing creatures
Eat the pink plants called berries to get a 50% growth bost so you grow faster

Another good creature you could play as in your next video is polymonstrum its a tier 4 with amazing base damage and its a carnivore
