It was a breathtaking moment to hear everyone screaming either Käärijä or Cha Cha Cha in Liverpool. Our dancers were just amazing there making his performance so much better and funnier! Thanks William and thanks Matti.
Excellent series! What a moment, when a true star is born and he’s so lovely on top of everything. The Kariija effect was real: “it’s party, it’s crazy.” We all partook!

Thank's William for an excellent epsiode! Wiwibloggs content is always excellent. It is still so wonderful to hear all these behind the scenes stories for the real ESC phenomenon Käärijä. This guy just is our national gem. Just can't wait the new UMK season to start next week!!!
Thank you so much for this 😍 I loved every second of this episode, especially hearing Matti's insight was really interesting. I just love to hear how other people have received "Käärijä in Eurovision -phenomenon". I have heard a good amount of his own thoughts about it and of course seen interviews and videos from that time, but hearing people's actual first impressions about him or thoughts about all the hassle around him is very fascinating! 🤔
I’m glad he mentioned the rope/ string issue as he said he could have been knocked out by it if he hadn’t seen it and reacted quickly. Yikes. I thought it was a production issue and didn’t realise it was because the backing dancer couldn’t move it.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, I’ve got a couple suggestions for future episodes. How about looking at the four-way tie at the 1969 contest? Or how Serbia won the 2007 contest on its debut with a song that defied the trend of winners in the 2000s (Serbian language ballot as opposed to English language, up-beat songs)?
Thank you So Much for this!! Really interesting to hear Matti's insights on the Käärijä phenomenon! Also, lovely to hear how well received they felt from Semi Final 1 Rehearsal and it was such a memorable moment for them. The chants/ cheers in the grand final are now iconic.
I'm sorry, but I'm forever going to stand by my word in my believe he's the winner, and that the ESC 2023 was rigged. Why is the Eurovision 2024 going to be in Malmö? That's the most significant issue for me regarding Finland's 2024 participation, to be honest. I've been a Euro fan for nearly 20 years and this is the first year I'm doubting myself should I even bother to watch it. I got a PTSD and OCD caused by a 2015-2017 discrimination of a jury of an obligatory uni subject due to which I dropped out from uni, so I'm not a big fan of any juries. ESC2023 didn't help at all... 😔
@@nzkid2599 Well, the fact is that it's not only based on 2023 but many years. Having juries is not good! Comparing viewing & listening figures of artists from different countries is like comparing apples and oranges... And I'm sorry, but I feel that you just belittled the pain I have been suffering. 😢
