Although our wool isn’t on pallets it in big bags we drop in grain trailer from a little height and take to where we sell it, and I would say it’s more realistic to drop in trailer than to cart on forks down the road
a passageway in a barn is usually a Aisle - A designated lengthwise area within a building, typically observed in Dutch-American barns, running parallel to the roof peak. This area is situated between the animal stalls and often comprises three separate spaces. In the us ive head Fairway a lot too
One trailer that I've used when I want to transport livestock, bales, pallets and logs is the "Johnston Brothers Modular Trailer" mod. It has different modules that fit together to create different kinds of trailers. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of how to assemble the pieces in-game, because each module is a separate tool that unfolds and attaches to the trailer, but once you figure out how the assembly works it is a very versatile option. Normally, I rent livestock trailers, but since you're producing lambs this could be an inexpensive option.
I find that most simulation games are always better when you first start them and have absolutely nothing and no $. It gives a purpose to everything you're doing and keeps you engaged. Once you have tons of $ I find it starts to get boring because there's no longer anything to work towards.
Honestly would rather watch you magically jump in and out of tractors than have to watch a tiny mini game puzzle thing or whatever😂 loving this series though!!
I find it funny how in the game the articulated loader has worse visibility than the standard telehandlers because of the seating position, where its the opposite IRL. Where I work we have both kinds of JCB loaders and the articulated loader is much better for visibility because you are higher up and central to the boom (and you can lean side to side, where the telehandler is lower and offset meaning for bucket work its harder to see if the bucket is level and where the far edge is if you're near a wall.
The black mountain welsh sheep or whatever they are called produce more wool than any of the others. It's been tested and absolutely accurate. Not saying it's a massive amount more but when every penny matters you might want to consider switching to those ones.
I think I will keep commenting until this series is eventually over: This is (besides the now-paused Vintage Survival) by far my favorite series you do! Keep it going as long as possible!
Hey Dag, loving the series i have a mod suggestion, the interactive seed and fertiliser bags just means you have to open the bags yourself but also you can choose to empty them however much you want instead of using the whole bag. 😁
It would be pretty realistic to be able to leave the tractor door open then smash it off on a post or hay bale. But all jokes aside farmers cut corners in real life was much as possible. I’ve definitely stacked more bales with a pallet fork than with a bale tine. So being realistic is cutting corners when it’s convenient.
Love this series daggerwin, on are farm after ploughing we use the Dtx machine which is in fs under the subsoiler category, it can also count as a ploughing since to goes really deep
There are a bunch of cars/vehicles on the property that you could repair for a transport vehicle on and off of the fields. Many farmers know general repairs IRL
It just dawned on me that you dont really need a forklift, as a pallet jack mod would allow you to get the pallets to more accessible locations, the exception being with your fertilizer which definitely needs a new home
There is a CSZ mod for the stone picker that can attach to a front loader, wheel loader or telehandler and is very cheap. I think its about 250-300. A ton of mod options included in that pack as well.
As for interactive controls, I like "mon bazou" controls. Every vehicle, you must use the handle to get in, close the door, turn the key, disengage the parking break, and put into gear. Then, do the reverse order to be done driving. No teleport, fuel must be interacted with, and no tools teleport. You must carry your chainsaw with you. Edit: maybe add the realistic refuel time/ handle to the series
Peanut uses a modded harvester by Mark Thor I believe, it has headers for every crop and their wide headers unlike the narrow ones for the root crops and potatoes
You should use a second profile and buy a forklift for the store like you and others have done. That way you have a lift system at the store and can use vehicles you know for sure can move the trailers and that.
You ask where to find the time on these machines at 15mins , usually on heavy equipment it is on the radio player from the jcb kubota and case that I've ran
My girlfriend and i have enjoyed a lot of your videos in the past, but recently it has been harder to know what video is the next in a series because there is no number on the thumbnail and the video names are so long that the episode number is not showing. Thought we might give some constructive feedback to our favorite FS content creator
@@christophermartin5742 yea I saw they were on this series, but it is kind of random if there is a number. We are currently watching the newest coop series and there is no number. I commented this video because it is the newest which gives a bigger chance for the feedback to be seen. But thanks for the heads up 👍
So we had a Kubota compact wheel loader, just like the one in game, at my old job. It's similar enough to the job, for talking about how you see your own forks, and the answer is you kinda don't, at certain spots of travel I couldn't see my own forks at all and had to have second guy guide me. So yeah in real life, you kinda guess
You can't smooth the farm yard, it's all one big prefab...You can edit the map to remove it either with GE or map object hider but it messes up some other stuff too. Map object hider can be used to get rid of the cars and other stuff around the yard that don't make much sense.
Hey daggerwin, in real life you always do the headlands first with the drill not last, and also i was really hoping to see you use the gps mod and it would get rid of many of the missed bits you sometimes have
i drive a flexi forklift (aislemaster) at work and cannot see the forks travelling forwards. i always pick up (and drop off) pallets on an angle to see the forks. would be difficult in FS as limited depth perception tho...
i do not blame u if u forget to open the door that must be so hard after all that time playing and make sure u take a look at a mod with extendable forks if u get a forklift
he uses music from Epidemic Sound prob pays the same as me around £16 per month for subscription its copyright free so can use it on you tube and other social media
Just have a question as to why would you take out all of the grass fields that can and do bring in profit instead of harvesting them a few times to build up money to buy what is needed. No farmer would plow under a profitable field to plant in other fields he doesn’t already have the equipment to harvest or plant before he does
I know it's a slow moving series, and some don't like that aspect. I feel the opposite... Making it 2 days per month, would give you more time while being realistic.
I meant to mention this in an earlier video, you are the first farmer (in farm SIM or real life) that I've ever seen do thee headlands last. Typically the headlands are done first to give room to turn around, as too I said about the creek, and to get as close to fences and other obstructions as possible.
Maybe with with interactive control you might have tom customised the tractor with no interactive control like the jcb it's has animated doors and it might be set to animated doors btw the interactive control in some of the tractor does different things like the button in the claas if you look around in the cab
I remember about the tabbing thing but I didn't want to mention it because I wasn't positive if it was the correct series and I also multitask whilr watch TH-cam most of the time.
You need to buy a tele-handler for the shop. I do it on My save. I have a farm in multiplayer called shop, and it has a tele-handler that Is there for loading purchased items from the warehouse onto my trailers.
Thank you for not jump cutting all the driving! It's nice to see such a beautiful map
Although our wool isn’t on pallets it in big bags we drop in grain trailer from a little height and take to where we sell it, and I would say it’s more realistic to drop in trailer than to cart on forks down the road

For moving the wool bales you can get the pallet jack mod and use a standard pallet jack to move them out of the storage area
This is a great series daggerwin. Really like the realistic style! As a wise man once said, "Realism is key." 😎
in real life, I would ask a neighbor, a friend for a trailer😊😊.
@@JustMyFishprojecting much 🤡!
I would have sold the JCB and traded it against a trailer and a telehandler with wheel steering as he want. Pretty sure it will be doable
@@JustMyFish dont need too be a douche
JCB and Massey both have openable doors. They are mouse controlled though. The JCB door is even slightly ajar already.

I like this serie, I like the "struggle". 😉
Yeah, me to. Suppose its cause its similar to my play style

Loving this series, 1 of the best I've watched along with, the pace is right up my street
Daggerwin go to your furtherest point of your field and work back towards the gate save you running ovwr your new field of crops 😊
in real life you can drive over freshly planted seeds its just not ideal due to compaction.
The black mountain welsh sheep or whatever they are called produce more wool than any of the others.
It's been tested and absolutely accurate. Not saying it's a massive amount more but when every penny matters you might want to consider switching to those ones.
We call it a feed passage
We always just called it an aisle-way.
Through way?
I'm used to calling it a feed alley
Tis in the aul passage there. We only have the 1 shed for feeding cattle so we all know what the "passage" is 😅
I think I will keep commenting until this series is eventually over: This is (besides the now-paused Vintage Survival) by far my favorite series you do! Keep it going as long as possible!
In fact i absolutely loved the vintage survival series even despite the slow going sometimes

Good episode keep it up.👍
Two mods I'd recommend are unload bales early and maize plus
Most farm shops would also have a little forklift so you should get one for the shop to help load up pallets etc
The store should have a forklift as the would in real life.
Loving the series man
It just dawned on me that you dont really need a forklift, as a pallet jack mod would allow you to get the pallets to more accessible locations, the exception being with your fertilizer which definitely needs a new home
There’s a pallet of mineral feed for Cows in the front of the farm yard in them small sheds.
There's a mod that makes the big bags interactive, you have to open and close the plastic gates on the bottom of the bags.
There is a CSZ mod for the stone picker that can attach to a front loader, wheel loader or telehandler and is very cheap. I think its about 250-300. A ton of mod options included in that pack as well.
We have a TM320 where I work and you can see the tines because they stick below the bracket

Ohhh please do grapes ✨🙏🏻
In animal sheds it is called the feed passage that runs through the feed fences
11:05 feed passage
You wouldn’t be running everywhere buddy you’d be knackered 😅

Dagger i love this series
Its called a feed passage in your shed lad !!
Thanks for another really great episode
There's a mod that allow you to see the pallet fork I believe it name Work Camera View
Please let this series go 60-70 episodes
There is a mod called realistic seed. Where you buy the actual crop seed
Could you imagine daggerwin walking into doors in real life, watching the first few minutes im sure its happened to him
Btw there is another entrance to the shop thats a little bit wider on the other side of the house/building
You ask where to find the time on these machines at 15mins , usually on heavy equipment it is on the radio player from the jcb kubota and case that I've ran
We have called the feeding area the alley as in the sheep alley or cow alley
Grab a loan, buy the trailer, deliver the wool and pay the loan back. A dealer would absolutely make it work if you needed it.
My girlfriend and i have enjoyed a lot of your videos in the past, but recently it has been harder to know what video is the next in a series because there is no number on the thumbnail and the video names are so long that the episode number is not showing. They are numbered, the number is just poorly placed under the video timestamp.
Edit: bottom right corner of thumbnail. Hope this helps.
@@christophermartin5742 yea I saw they were on this series, but it is kind of random if there is a number. We are currently watching the newest coop series and there is no number. As a farmer with a JCB Tm 310 I can confirm that the tines are tricky to see
I think you would call that little path in your sheep barn a hall
I’d like to have seen in cab transporting the wool 😅

11:07 a feeding passage
name of the map? also love the series keep it up
11:13 it is called a feed bunk ally way

11:10 feed passage Daggerwin
i do not blame u if u forget to open the door that must be so hard after all that time playing and make sure u take a look at a mod with extendable forks if u get a forklift
How to see the tines on the JCB, in real life you would lean right or left, and not be looking straight at the boom :)
Where you feed the sheep is a feeding passage
I hope you dont mind me asking but where do you get all your different great music from
he uses music from Epidemic Sound prob pays the same as me around £16 per month for subscription its copyright free so can use it on you tube and other social media
Thankyou andy for that i will have a look cheers rob
Just thinking how come there isn’t any ai traffic? That would be cool maybe the odd tractor etc
Cant you rent stuff or is that not allowed
Just drove across the field where you’ve seeded 😭😩 and not round the edge
Just have a question as to why would you take out all of the grass fields that can and do bring in profit instead of harvesting them a few times to build up money to buy what is needed. No farmer would plow under a profitable field to plant in other fields he doesn’t already have the equipment to harvest or plant before he does
The roller does actually push the smaller rocks down into the soil again.
15 01
you said ( how do farmers see the bags I am a farmer my self we use a tractor and loder for that reason u are welcome
How on earth did the FS physics let him drive all that way with 2 pallets on? I'd have had at least 3 attempted space launches 😂😂
Are they bags of seed in the shed where you put the seeder ?
No
I know it's a slow moving series, and some don't like that aspect. I feel the opposite... Making it 2 days per month, would give you more time while being realistic.
It is a passage way where you feed teh cattle and sheep
Didn't you have a pickup truck? Would have worked with the car trailer just a friendly suggestion
What about survisl roleplay
Hez working on story line

Lean over past the mast but yeah it’s a pain
There is a mod that only allows you to seed only that crop ( buy a bag of wheat seeds and can only plant wheat
There are soooo many more bale trailers on mod hub that are more realistically priced
❤
It’s the alleyway
I remember about the tabbing thing but I didn't want to mention it because I wasn't positive if it was the correct series and I also multitask whilr watch TH-cam most of the time.

Hi when is survival roleplay back
Survival roleplay?

@@hannahmason2826 oh fair enuf
Sell that JCB and get the attachment on a tractor for spikes and pallet forks.
Did Daggerwin say some'tine' you see the fork lift and some'tine' you don't?
No 2nd hand trailers \vehicles available on this like in real life?
12 minuites and 38 seconds into the vid on the top right there is seed I hope you find helpful
You need to play on hard mode to be realistic
Can you play this mod in ps5
The map yes, but not all of the mods that he uses
Sell the jcb and get a manitoe telehandler
Its a feeding passage
It’s going to drive you mad this interactive mod
