It’s not just wranglers. I have a 22 grand Cherokee trailhawk 4xe and it’s the same crap with mine. Mine is in the driveway because the battery is bad for the 3rd time and it won’t shift into neutral to be towed. The system is completely locked. Thanks jeep. $76k for a POS.
@@cynthiapaniagua3785 after this time I have been thinking about it. I thought after the other times, I wouldn’t have anymore problems. That apparently wasn’t the case.

That's horrible. Have you thought of just filing a lemon law claim?

The battery is directly under the rear seat with no shielding. There’s no easy fix for that.
How did no one question this design? It just seems like such a huge design flaw.
Unsafe while you’re driving it, charging it, or it’s parked. Jeep needs to buy them all back. It was poorly designed.
It was a rushed job. It was a race to be first to market and they failed.
It’s been a nightmare to own it.
What about Grand Cherokee 4xe
Some Cherokee's have been recalled. If you have one, plug in your VIN here to see if there's a recall www.nhtsa.gov/recalls
Quit buying EVs!!!! Learn the lesson from others
EV is not the answer, this is a stepping stone that is not scalable or cost effective.
