Many, many years ago I sang these beautiful and haunting songs in a chorus in Chicago called Slovenska Pesem, where the Franciscan priest and composer, Fr. Vendelin Spendav made sure that we would never forget our precious Slovene heritage..

First song is told by a young man, who was at his girlfriend by night and then church bells remind him that the morning is coming.. Second song is inspired by the sound of church bells, song is about how we hear sound of bells echoing. Next songs are more or less about girls and boys, how girls missed boys and one is sad song about a young girl death... Those all are really beautiful Slovenian songs, parts of our culture and national soul...
