I lived in Kahalu'u in the 70s, and it was still rural and beautiful, then. I hope it hasn't changed. Most of Oahu, except maybe the larger towns, and Honolulu, is still pretty pristine, I believe. And the outer Islands.
I used to live in Kahalu'u in the 70's and rode horseback along the Koolau mountains with my friends. This song make me homesick everytime I hear it.
