That moment with Adam and jay is legit one of my favorite moments in all of survivor
Yup
Still makes me tear up. Was such a wonderful genuine moment, and the way that Jay then tees him up in final tribal to tell his story and seals his win, was just perfection.

Same. It’s one that always comes to mind when I think of my fave moments.
That scene between Adam and Jay never fails to make me cry. Such an interesting relationship they had and what an incredibly raw moment to share.
Jay's elimination is still one of my favorite moments of all time. What a good sport!
This season is one of my favorites. The cast is top tier: Adam, David, Hannah, Zeke, Brett. But my favorite was Jay- from the oh so wrong blindside, to his underdog story, his relationship with Adam and his elimination, his story never ceased to grip your attention.

As a TH-cam baby, seeing Mari on this season was one of the big things that got me into survivor
I was shook when she went home so soon but by then I was already hooked on Survivor LMAO
She was literally the reason I watched (after the fact, I didn't watch SG until after YPT came out), which is so great because I've seen MvGX twice since I love Adam so much. I've only seen a dozen or so seasons at this point.
I've been a lifelong fan of Survivor from season 1, and Mari showing up was just like world's colliding. It was so fun.
its honestly kinda cool to see the amount of people who also got into Survivor because they were Smosh Games fans
I had never been into survivor very much as a kid (huge big brother fan tho) but I LOVED smosh games so hearing Mari was gonna be on survivor, I had to watch. She unfortunately didn't last long so I stopped watching. Now all these years later I'm absolutely obsessed with survivor and went back and watched that season, entirely on accident, as my first binge watch of the show. I wish inwould have kept watching it after she left because I absolutely loved that season.
I'm always glad when I see MvGX get this appreciation nowadays when upon airing people were kind of mixed on it. There's just so much good stuff to it that if you can get past Probst pulling a "how do you do, fellow kids?", and the odd random "trust cluster" discussions, you'll find a lot to love.
I will never get over Jeff pausing before revealing the next vote when Mikaela is voted out. Something about Jeff pausing during a vote reveal is so iconic to me. I just can't think of that happening very often and if it hadn't happened before hand she earned her spot on gamechangers.
Great season. Great winner. Great cast. Great moments. That Michaela reaction is epic. Love her.
David is probably my favorite player to have never won. His journey was so fun to watch.
His false idol creation was absolutely brilliant! I was rooting for David until he was voted out
This season was what convinced me to check out Survivor, because I loved Adam’s journey throughout the season. He is a true ascended fanboy, winning the game he loved so much and honoring his mom.
How has Jay never been brought back? He’s so fun to watch.
He's played the challenge at least twice since mvgx, if they bring players from the 30s back to play I'd be stoked to see him again
Yes, this season stands out for its heart, but would should also remember it contained much humour too. Including what still remains one of my favourite Survivor lines of all:
Early challenge: a relay. Poor hapless David, unable to lift, to run (hell, barely able to WALK), to swim (hell, barely able to successfully FALL into the water), prompting Zeke to turn to the tribe mate beside him and whisper 'Why is David trying to throw this?"
This was honestly such a fun season and had so many great characters and moments. Michaela's blindside is still one of my all-time favorite moments. Jay's reaction to her was iconic😂😂😂😂 I also need to give a shout out to the rock draw because that was brutal for Jessica😢
This is my comfort season. This is the one I go back to when I want a rewatch that's equal parts full of heart and good gameplay. I adore everyone on this season. Truly one of the best complete seasons to me and one I will never tire of rewatching. To me it has everything that makes Survivor so special - people from all walks of life learning to love and care for one another, people who grow so much in just a short amount of time on the island, strategy that puts you on the edge of your seat the first time you watch it...just all around an amazing season with so many wonderful moments.
Adam has always been my favorite winner because of his heart, he’s just so sweet and his mom would be so proud of him
Excellent season. Definitely one of my favorites.
Side note: Figgy recently played in Squid Games: the Challenge
And she actually had a personality on squid game, other than the annoying flirt 😂
When I was younger my grandma passed from lung cancer and Adam’s story made me sob and realized that I never properly processed that grief
Jay is a top 5 one time player i want to see return. Probably only second to Christian in David vs Goliath
This is THE greatest season for me, and this video really highlights why. So many powerful, memorable moments, really fun and unpredictable gameplay and some iconic characters. There really isn't much more I could ever ask from a Survivor season.

no lie just a few days ago I was searching to see if you had made this video yet after watching this season on Netflix! So many great arcs, the way Jay says "Boop!" gets better each time you hear it.
First season I ever watched of Survivor - this is what got me into it, and I loved this season. Great rewatchability!

The journey of david from being afraid to blindsiding people .he should have won that season
It was so lame how this dudes cancer mom story got so big and became unstoppable, David had no cool stories so got a bit left behind.
@@Ruddline David had his own story of overcoming struggles that everyone in the season witnessed. Also, Adam was a top player and David was out before everyone even knew about Adam's mom.

Video idea: contestants from other shows(big brother, amazing race) that you would like to see play survivor, we seen Hayden, Natalie, mike white do well, I bet there’s many more that would be great for the show
I feel like very little of Mike White and Natalie’s potential on survivor, came through on amazing race. they’re probably two very different shows that require different sets of skills. When I saw Mike white in promo of DvG I thought “oh he’ll be an early boot, as the weaker and older guy”

MvsGenx stayed my favourite season for 12 season before losing his gold medal... But OMG this video gives me chills like no other video of any other season

Yea I feel like either the edit was very misleading. Or it was dumb for Ken to get so hung up and sensitive about one comment she made, and vote her out over one comment

one of my favorite seasons
Very few moments on survivor make me ugly cry. Hearing about adams mom got me. It's the only one that made me go to my mom and give her a hug
Real survivor heads know how good this season was. How awesome a winner Adam is. And how dumb all the forced mil v gen x stuff was

Jays elimination is one for the books. Absolute satisfaction of a blindside. Thank God he was able to see it from a game point and appreciate that he was truly mastered .....checkmate. 😂

Honestly even though I hated them at the start for taking out Mari, Michelle and Figgy were extremely entertaining on my last viewing and I feel this season does have a few worthy returnees
I don't think Survivor knows how old gen x is supposed to be, as they have many millennials on the wrong team.
Jessica's elimination is one of the most heartbreaking moments in Survivor history! She wanted to flip her vote but couldn't scree over Hannah and it cost her. Devastating all around.
Totally was the last chance to do BOOMERS VS. GENX VS. MILLENNIALS! What a missed opportunity

yeah the oldest Gen Z's are around 24-26, I like to cut it from 1999-2010 but some sources say 1997-2012, I like 1999-2010 because that would put me as one of the oldest as I am a 1999's baby, seems fair as it was hitting the new era of technology @@hipnotyq

Why’d you have to go and make it cry like a baby at a survivor video. Jay and Adam’s scene, as well as the finale break me every single time
Jay was made for the challenge lol making moves just for screen time and goid confessionals.
That move was terrible for his game, it only helped him get a big monent in episode. Was more bout screen time than winning

Jay is such a great villian. Plays as an absolute pompous asshole so much vut shiwed respect when people deserved it. Gotta say i hated him during the season but ended up respecting the hell out of him by the end. Also david is still one of my favorite players.
I know we’re in a “new era” of survivor, but if they ever bring back Second Chance as a season theme, Jay NEEDS to come back
there's been so much sudden dislike for this season on Twiiter and Reddit, but man if people just watch this video, it's obvious that it's a special season of the show.
I just wish more female contestants lasted longer. :(

I honestly think GenX is the best reality TV generation but Millennials ended up being great in their own right. Unfortunately, any GenX casted anymore are like Bruce or Julie, a little bit too stuck in their ways and dreaming about powerful alliances that will get to the end. Now its time to see Elder Millennials (30-45) vs GenZ (16-26)

Jay is the best
Hannah was so good this season and the fact she got zero votes is crazy to me when she really worked the game to get to the end. She adapted and become strong. She flipped when she needed to and helped pull the strings and she actually gave a really solid FTC performance. I just think Adams story was too much of a mountain to climb.
Definately a great season. I am in yhe minority in thinking adam was an annoying crybaby of a winner but nobody who was up there was very worthy so of the three he deserved it.
Figgy is so annoying.
this season in my opinion leads to one of the most illegitimate winners of modern survivor, Adam game was mediocre out of the majority of final TC but the second he opens his mouth talking about matters outside of the game was how the votes came in. sob stories are for Idol and got talent shows
But if you were to stop talking who's content would I listen to.
I couldnt stand adam tbh. Arrogant and deceitful.
