    He looks so much in a daze, at first I thought he was a hippie, then I saw the same expression in all the other prisoners of Assad’s regime. I truly hope they didn’t hurt him, he looks so out of it, like all of those poor prisoners do. Thank you to the new Syrian government for helping him get home safely.

    • @solar0wind
      @solar0wind หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      He claims that they didn't hurt him, but that doesn't mean that they really didn't, and even if they didn't hurt him physically, he likely witnessed horrible things, and also just the experience alone of being kidnapped and held captive is traumatizing. I hope he gets psychological help, once he's back.

    There were approximately 4,000 prisoners. That doesn't seem too awful to me. I suggest that you take a good look at the Israeli CONCENTRATION CAMPS where hundreds of thousands of people are being tortured.
    I visited Syria in 2009 and 2010. The vast majority of people supported Bashar al-Assad and his government. This was just before the West's proxy war in Syria.
    I'm also a FIRSTHAND witness to Pinochet's sarin gas & odourless cocaine (export) drug trade producing 1,000 kilos of cocaine a week from his Las Condes, Santiago de Chile factory. Eugenio Berrios was his personal biochemist. Of course Pinochet killed off the competition in Chile before becoming Latin America's biggest narco in the 1970's, 1980's and the early 1990's. Eugenio Berrios went into hiding in Uruguay where he was later tortured, shot then decapitated and buried in El Piñar. Yes, Pinochet was the West's dictator therefore protected by all US president's & Margaret Thatcher of the UK. None of your mainstream media outlets ever talk about him or George Bush Snr and Manual Noriega in Panama or Carlos Slim or the DEA and the Chilean Intelligence exporting tons of cocaine on military aircraft yet you want us to be concerned about a small pill factory in Syria. Bashar al-Assad kept Syria together as best as he could. Now let's wait and see what the West's terrorists bring to the region. Thank God Bashar al-Assad didn't end up with a similar fate to Gaddafi or Saddam Hussein.

      Islam in it's essence is moderate and balanced. What you have come to know as Islam through western media as being represented by the various extreme groups are a mere exploitation and abuse of the word Islam inorder to rally people and further their political agenda. Looking beyond the propaganda lense of the western media is important inorder for people to understand that they are not so different and share much more similarities in their commen essence of humanity and the day to day struggles of life. May peace prevail by God's grace.

    This guy looks eerily similar to the man caught in Africa 7mths ago, arrested for attempting to overthrow the government. There's video and pictures of the guy, but they never said his name-- Only mentioned two other Americans 😮

      @@anthony-jt2mv Two different police departments (One in the States and one in Hungary) have listed this guy as missing and his family had no idea where he was. Typically agents in the field will tell their family that they're on assignment, so they don't get reported missing. This guy clearly didn't care that he freaked out his entire family.
      He's a self-important evangelical, who thought he could just walk into the most dangerous country in the world, without any consequences. He's one deadly projectile away from that guy who tried to bring Jesus to the people of Sentinel Island.
