What you were saying about what music can do, and how everyone is going through something that they are still battling... that's all so true. I lost my parents and my little brother within 2 years, and then I left an abusive marriage, and I'm now going through crazy health issues... but music has always been there. Music has always listened, spoke for me when I didn't have the words, allowed me to cry, grieve, laugh, and everything in-between, without ever judging me. Just listened. Understood. In some ways, music saved me. It got me through some really tough times in my childhood when my narcissistic mother was going through her mood swings, and again when I was the only one by her side in her dying days after she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Right now, even, I'm dealing with a really crappy apartment, but we can't afford to move, so I turn to music to help me through my day. Thank you for bringing music into other people's lives, and helping them in ways that you'd never realize.
