I hated his role so much in the film omg Gideon is the worst, But that obviously tells that he did it brilliantly, He's so talented honestly I didn't know he was such a good actor, Mind blowing
Many many English actors have to talk In a different accent to fit their roles! A lot of actors take voice lessons to train themselves to changethere voice, and some can do it naturally!
That's all fine and dandy but with this being an American story, especially so significant to black Americans; the lead role could've been played by one. Would've resonated a little more with the personal connection. Then more characters in the picture are not from here. A story like this should be performed by the people who experienced it. No foreigners
@@robertmccarther5230 What a ridiculous notion! That is a very narrow minded point of view .Following your logic, Forrest Whittaker should not have played Ugandan Idi Amin or Morgan Freeman play South African Nelson Mandela. Should Daniel Day Lewis not be hired to play Abraham Lincoln? You find the best actor you can get the best performance you can. End of.
i mean it’s pretty obvious that he did in the movie. he literally admits it at the end. but it’s important to remember that being attracted to someone does not mean you aren’t still oppressing them. there were plenty of white men who were abolitionists in that time period. white men who found themselves attracted to or in love with enslaved women very easily could have rebelled against those oppressive forces and contributed to the freedom of black people. these kinds of men chose not to because the subjugation of black people ultimately did still benefit them, and they weren’t willing to sacrifice that.
He really did well in this movie even tho I hated his character
Same.
If u hated the Character it means he did his role pretty well.

This was a good movie but a bit sad 😞 and crazy 😜 but Harriet Tubman is the best black girl in the history
This film was completely 100% historically inaccurate
Huh?
So Harriet Tubman didnt bring slaves to freedom? I think you are mistaken sir
All history is inaccurate even Roots and a Woman called Mosed.
Howww
As all of all historical movies.
Is it bad that I felt bad for him?
I think he liked Harriet.
You should've kept this in the drafts
