Sober for two weeks today. Just taking a break from beer after work etc.
I just felt such a connection to this song. Literally sobbing as I hike this trail, playing random songs on TH-cam
I remember waking up on the next day after my birthday, I had passed out. This was the first song I heard in the morning, I had tears of joy. Hope your sober journey is going well, I'm trying too to stop all form of vices such as alcohol and weed.

First Christmas since my divorce...times have changed and circumstance. Miss my kids reminders everywhere, I rose at 5.30am this morning(it's Christmas). I to break the silence put music on to break the weird silence....and this song began to play on my mix play list. I'm currently crying into my coffee but this song has resonated with me so deeply. jason schofield I came upon this song also listening to a mix playlist ... created for me by TH-cam earlier today that I ‘happened upon’ as I was in a space of some residual healing from a divorce (20 yrs 2kids) and both of my parents passing all within a year 2018/19. But just 8 days ago... I was reunited with my first true love from music school 30 yrs ago via Facebook messenger. After a few 6+hrs phone talks over a period of 2 days he and I decided to ‘meet half way’ in Chicago over this past weekend, Friday 2/14/20 Valentine’s Day and we celebrated his birthday the very next day on Saturday 2/15/20! A divine reunion occurred for us... If you don’t give up on life and you deliberately choose your happiness over anything and everyone else, if you look for the light in the darkest of skies ... your life will transform for you to a place of joy that you could never have imagined! This I have personally experienced and learned from listening/studying Abraham-Hicks teaching of the law of attraction on TH-cam and attending a couple of their workshops as well as communing with nature on a daily basis...LIFE IS SO RICH AND SO GOOD! For more inspired listening... check out the album Spirit Bird by Australian multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd... he was on that same play mix... it’s like a chain reaction of enlightenment that connects these musical artists to one another ..and connects us all! We can all tap in if we choose to, have a great day!
11 months since my dear son, Nick took his life. This healing will take me the rest of my life. My other children will have to heal for much longer. Thank you this music is therapy for us that can't afford it.

Lost my mom yesterday ... First day in my life I wake up to an earth without her on the planet. I feel my heart is missing a piece that has been with me for the last 51years. Hey can I just say thank you... I have been sick for as long as I can remember, always new doctors, new test, new diagnosis, I hated it I stopped going, stopped taking the pills once I got a little older and man I got so sick I was completely across states in Alabama and I got hospitalized for weeks this song popped up.. I'm a zen Buddhist and this song saved me in that hospital I felt like it was a message for me. I NEVER see my name spelled the right way on anything and then sitting in a hospital bed getting told I might die thinking about my child and this song showed up "you cant rush your healing|KALA|" and now a year and a half later stopped taking my meds again and my heart and auto immune diseases are getting bad and it just goes to show I really can't rush my healing instead I gotta learn to live with it.. Thank you for this song. And all the other beautiful ones you blessed us with

My friend just died. I’ve been in a crippling depression for most of my life but she never batted an eye. She was there for me even when I couldn’t be there for her. This was one of the last things she sent me. My heart is so utterly broken

It’s been a dark year. I had two diagnoses added to an already lengthy list: PTSD and ADHD. My dad needs a kidney transplant but is refusing to take mine. My best friend of over 20 years didn’t make it out of the darkness this past November and it’s seemed less and less likely that I will either. I have tried and tried to keep running toward the light but sometimes the darkness swallows me whole.
A friend of mine showed me this song a couple weeks ago during a particularly rough grief episode, and it has been a comforting reminder to keep going. When I start getting overwhelmed, I play this and try to remember what my friend said during our long talk when he played this: “you don’t have to be better than you were the day before every single day, you don’t have to be the person you think you have to be all the time, you don’t have to be anything. It’s okay to just…be.” And I’m trying. I’m trying to just be and be okay with being.
I read some of the comments on this video and cried a bit for everyone tonight. I hope everyone who commented is healing and that this song brings as much hope to you as it does to me. I doubt Trevor will ever see this comment, but if you do: thank you for this song.
