Brilliant Christmas time tour, awesome displays throughout!! Lived/worked in London years ago! Not quite a full year & not there at holidays, so this is indeed a treat! Visited /shopped Harrods many times and magnificent Egyptian Rooms section awesome year round & tiled food "courts" more than memorable! Thanks for showing this tour takes me back to London for bit of time! MERRY Christmas all!!!

I was curious how it looked. It's a little like one of those lavish old time movie theaters. The decorations are gorgeous. I can certainly see how shopping there would be much more of an event than just ordering something online. Thanks.

i :Love, love, love London. Harrods is gorgeous. The food court is mind boggling and I have a horrible time making decisions about what I want to get. I have gotten tea and have the tins for a remembrance. I bought some pastries for my friend and I to take to the hotel with us for a night time munchie. I almost prefer Fortnum & Mason because it's easier to get through the choices, not as much. If you have never been to London, however, Harrods food court is a must see. You just can't believe it.

Thank you for taking the time for such a beautiful video. Harrods is like a dream. A shopping experience that sadly, is not the norm - especially during the holidays or dare I say not prevalent here in the U.S. anymore - with the exception of maybe Saks in NY (and I'm not even sure that compares). This is definitely a destination on my bucket list.

New York City, once was. We don't hold a candle to what I just saw. Step inside Macy's, Sak's, Bloomingdale's. Nothing like this. Ok, we have The Rockefeller Christmas Tree (is it called by that anymore? Or just The Tree?) Many stores have closed their doors, Bendels, Bonwit, Lord and Taylor, and many more. Thanks for a wonderful dreamlike experience.

Hurry up and go. I am an old azz. I spent a lot of time in the 80s in London. I loved the food halls in Harrods. Clubbing, meeting guys, dating. Having a blast. That was when all of the bands were coming out of England. Wham!, Duran Duran, Culture Club. Even met Boy George at an event he put on. The pictures we took look like we are on a date. Lol! So many memories. I am different now, so is the world.
Wishing you safe travels in advance. Fall was the best time. The weather was still good and the summer tourists were gone. Hotel prices down too. Enjoy!!

I still remember going to Harrods with my mother about 35 years ago. It was our first trip to England and we’d heard so much about this store. We came from New York where all the major department stores had lunch rooms. “Let’s eat at Harrods “ we decided. Upon entering the store we asked for directions to the restaurant from an employee at an information desk. “ At Harrods we have 16! Shall I help you make a selection?”

Have you tried Macy's at Herald Square in NYC? It is supposed to be the largest dept store in the America's.

Because of money…they don have the deep pockets of the owner mr. al frayed…the store is gorgeous…however…most major dept stores don’t fund the visual team or hire enough people to pull this off. This country…usa.has been through a financial recession plus covid..and inflation which makes pulling this off impossible…

In the 50s and 60s window displays at big stores were decorated for children with whimsical snow scenes. Now the window dressing is mostly clothing for adults with too much money. Christian Dior and other designer names splashed on doors instead of the store name? You'd think you are shopping at Chistian Dior not Harrods. What happened to Christmas is for children?

We used to live in London many years back. And most of crockery and crystal ware I used to buy from Harrods

I got into this store way, way back. It is truly an amazing store and this is owned by the family of the late Dodi al Fayed (i don't know if they still owned at this time. It was on the second week of December when I came into this store and bought some souvenir items which I still have until now. This is even bigger than SM City Cebu. How I wish to visit London once again.
I think the owners have changed as the Diana memorial has gone now.
Harrods is know for its lavish and extravagant Christmas decors, on the top of the building you see the emblem/seal of nobility given by the British Royal family for a department store or boutiques where they bought products and were amenable to the quality of the products sold.

I've visited London innumerable times but never checked out Harrod's. If I ever return, Harrod's, Belmarsh prison where Julian Assange is imprisoned and Downton Abbey are on my list. A Christmas visit would be optimal. Every once in a while, I'll see a picture or watch a video and resolve to see somewhere. You've inspired me... nice work.

Must just be me but the outside didn’t look very Christmasy to me or the inside for that matter.
Still much better than Paris. There's a fine line between elegant and drab, and they crossed it. Parisians have dressed like Americans for years. So dark and dull, like mourning. This is miles better.
