Firstly, congrats! Second, I can't imagine how much money that would save! Here in the Netherlands it's illegal haha. And specially now, with Covid, the price per lesson is higher then usual, like 40-50 euro's for 1 hour. (glad I past a small year ago)

I passed my driving test Thursday at Wolverhampton. massive thanks to the videos you don’t realise just how helpful they are. i got 3 minors and drove with Ranj. with his learning and these videos my driving on the day was awesome. Hi how many lessons did u do?
I did 32 hours between July 2021 and March 2022. But I also did about 15-20 hours in January 2020 before lockdown. I had a lot of gaps in lessons because of Covid disruption which knocked my confidence as it felt like starting again each time.
In case if anyone is wondering, Rafal has passed his driving test first time round! Whoop whoop already on the road!! 😊

I’m not going to lie I’ve been really ill today with flu and a high temperature. I’ve been watching your videos today to try get my mind of my stomach pains and headaches. I’m currently learning to drive so not only is this distraction from my illness but I’m also learning stuff. It’s my birthday next Friday so I hope I’m better by then. i think i prefer the white footwear too but the only problem with white, is that they get dirty so easily especially on a rainy/wet day. But those footwear look like they'll be easy to clean with just some wet wipes because of the material they're made of.
Also: im with Rafel on the handbrake situation, i dont like using the handbrake either, so i feel that.

Rafel's one of the best "fails" you've had in a long time and will almost definitely pass. Needs to get over his aversion to the handbrake though (as do most other drivers - the number of cars constantly rolling backwards and forwards when stopped at junctions is ridiculous -- put the handbrake on and give your feet a rest!).
This was something I quickly started doing (Passed end of last year). Definitely helps to give your feet a rest and stop rollback as you say

I passed my test in Barnet yesterday! It took me a little longer than the average but lockdown didn't really help my driving journey. Would always watch your videos and take your tips with me into my lessons! It feels good to have this freedom now! Thank you for your help!

He done well, can see where pin is coming from obviously, myself doing lessons, i still struggle, loads to learn and get comfortable at, determined to pass this year. I love doing an emergency stop...my instructor doesn't like me doing them so much as he wants to keep some tread on his tires lol.

Shouldn't ABS' main function be to stop the tyres locking up and losing tread? (As that's what happens when you lock up along with sliding for ages)

Passed my 2nd test with 4 minors, only 10 hours of lessons! Couldn't have done it without the ultimate driving course. Well worth the money I've saved on lessons:) (It was automatic test if you're wondering why I passed so quickly)
Oh how did you find learning automatic? I started with manual but I’m switching now, my first lesson should be this week. I really want to pass by June at the latest so I’m hoping auto works out for me!
@@jas_313 if you're like me and feel safer focusing on one thing at a time (the road) while being able to control steering with two hands instead of one - you will love it!
I know experienced drivers prefer manual for many reasons, but I feel everyone should learn with an auto tbh
One pro time I see a lot of people miss is not getting the bite point while waiting at the lights especially if it's uphill and you're not using the handbrake
they always look at you when they do the emergency stop, makes me laugh
9:33 serious fault for pen observation. No checks were made. Ink was drifting out of position. I'd possibly give this a dangerous fault as it could have stained the clothes and confused people around you

I must say, when Pin's pen leaked, Rafel showed very good focus. There was a brief glance to the side but otherwise his eyes were on the road; he didn't let a small thing distract him. I point this out mainly because it's one of the main things I'm working on, I'm guilty of being distracted by people, pets and little things I notice and taking my eyes (and/or mind) off the road. Hopefully, having said this, I'll remember a bit better and if anyone's reading this, maybe you will too :)
I had to do a reverse bag park at the test centre when I got back. Messed it right up. Still passed tho

Hi Pin Binning! Love your videos and this one was very informative like always. But I have query on the first serious fault that Rafel made. I hear you say when you have priority you should move but when it's safe. In Rafel's situation I felt it was not safe to enter the roundabout as the lorry coming from left was quite fast and entering the roundabout would have caused lorry to apply emergency brake. And in this situation probably I would have stopped too!!

Passed my test yesterday, with 3 minors. Thank you for the video's , they've been a massive help. One minor was for the hill start which id never practiced in the instructors car id used for the test which had an electronic handbrake(switch) which releases automatically, i started to drive but it wasn't releasing so had to do so manually, i later found out i just should of carried on releasing the clutch a little more :D , other's had been for kissing the kerb when pulling up on the left. Examiner was a great guy, had a great chat which calmed the nerves.🤘

Overall it is what it is but when reversing out of a bay best thing to do to look at the rear view mirror which shows you what is behind so to me not looking directly out the back window should not be a fail he checked mirrors and blind spots and if you don't break your kneck to look behind when there is a mirror designed directly to see what's behind without creating broken kneck syndrome I don't get how that's a fail he can blatently see what's directly behind by using the rear view mirror what he can't see is the blind spots he checks all the correct observations but didn't break his kneck to view what he could already see in the mirror showing him what is directly behind him 👍👍👍

I wanted to know the same too. We don’t do parallel parking. We have to do reverse around a corner and we use Kms instead of miles. Our test grading is different too with grade 1 grade 2 and grade 3 faults but the rules of the road and signage are pretty much the same and we drive on the left.

Nah, cos u have to signal to let people know ur moving off. The signal is cancelled anyway as he turns the wheel so isn’t a problem
