By chance, your video caught my eye. Welcome to Riyadh! Saudi Arabia has undergone significant transformation under Vision 2030, and you’ve arrived at the perfect time. I’m Dr. Sameera Aziz, one of the pioneer female journalists in Saudi Arabia. Though I am a Saudi national and was born and raised here, I studied in Karachi. Now, I am based in Jeddah and serve as the Chairperson of Sameera Aziz Group of Companies. I continue to work as an authorized Saudi media person and journalist-after all, as they say, once a journalist, always a journalist. Do visit me whenever you’re in Jeddah, and I hope you will enjoy all that Saudi Arabia has to offer.
@@SameeraAzizOfficial Hey Sameera. I am so glad you commented and I would love to connect with you. Woah, journalist. That sounds ambitious and being one of the pioneers is just so cool. You must be a reason of pride for your family and the country itself I am sure of that. I would love to read some of your work and I am glad you have lived in Karachi also, my home. Riyadh has transformed, no doubt. The people here were already progressive I feel, they just needed an avenue to explore this side also.
Hi, I’m Sadaf. I moved to Riyadh six months ago, and yes, it’s a challenging process, but InshaAllah, you will settle in soon. I truly enjoy watching your vlogs, mainly because they remind me of Karachi. My house is in Phase 8, so when I see the roads, buildings, Emaar, and everything there, it feels like I’m looking at my own home.
@@sadafyousuf7584 Oh that's lovely Sadaf. So I still have some projects in Karachi and I will be going there frequently. You can keep enjoying my Karachi vlogs then🤍 How are you finding Riyadh btw?
@aishaabrar6692 That’s so kind of you! Your Karachi vlogs will definitely bring back wonderful memories of the city. Honestly, I miss my house, my friends, and my social circle there. Riyadh is such a peaceful city, and while I’m still adjusting, I’m enjoying the process of exploring new things.
@aishaabrar6692 ,The people here, including those from other nationalities, are generally friendly and helpful. However, I’ve noticed that Arabs tend to move at a slower pace compared to Karachi, where everything feels like it’s running fast forward😂 .If you’ve noticed, even at mall counters, the service is so relaxed and slow. Uff, even when there’s a long line, they’re just so laid-back! There are so many fine dining options here compared to Karachi, and I really enjoy exploring new restaurants. I haven’t tried many yet, but I have a long list of places to check out! Your Riyadh vlogs have been really helpful in that journey, too. Wishing you the best of luck with your new move and your projects!
Yes it's not easy I came here 5 months ago still in search of good apartment with in budget but they are so so expensive as we have to see other expenses as well.
You will find a very big Pakistani community in Riyadh, well settled, I also live in Riyadh from last 20 years. Riyadh is a big city, search the apartment near your work place. Rents are very high especially increase too much in last 2 years. Traffic is also a lot. Stay near your work area or spend a lot of time in traffic jam
@@smartviwer5520 This is what we say when we are differentiating restaurant chefs and ON TV chefs. Since “on tv” is not a word, hence we say celebrity chefs. It’s not boosting. I hope you feel more secure to assess when someone is actually pretentious vs if they are just describing their nature of work. 🤍🤍🤍
House hunting made it difficult by people of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, these poor people need commission and they are reselling their own rented apartment with increasing rates. Unlike I have seen at expatriate website Filipinos are not profiting while renting their apartments to their own community.
