The band has no tech support staff on this tour. They have to keep the cost low to run these tours in small venues. I saw them in London and Miyako did all the sound and equipment check. These ladies deserve far better. They are simply amazing.
Wow, if I knew all that back then, I would've discovered them earlier. I'm hoping either Miyako or Midori will return to the NAMM show in the near future, I'd attend in a heartbeat just to see them again in person! :)
Your phone did a great job when it is really tough for one to handle this level. Judgement Day shows how great these women are, they are tight, and magnificent musicians.
This is just my $ .02 but I hope there were a couple of 'Music Industry' people there who realize that this band has limitless potential based on their rich and extremely catchy songs, their insanely high-level musicianship, their attractiveness, Asami's stage presence, and the crowd reaction; "Judgement Day" would have absolutely blown them away! I assume they want to make it big, but they're having to market THEMSELVES with their group and individual videos (which I love!). Their management's plan for them totally eludes me. What are they doing? And why? People have commented on the size of these venues and the questionable technical glitches that shouldn't happen to a band this good. It's shameful. Well, they probably couldn't fill up a larger venue because they aren't being marketed correctly----if at all. These small venues are fun and good for them on occasion, but these places should be a change of pace for them instead of the norm. Ok, I'm done 🤪

Yeah, that's true. Good term---Guitar Center music. The days of Metallica-type bands playing to 80,000+ in Brazil or in California are long gone. I know for a fact that guitar sales are experiencing a cyclical low point. Anyway, the Internet/TH-cam concert videos has made the urge to see a favorite band decrease substantially. It's still fun, but......,Metal has always been to music as comics are to 'literature'. The market isn't there for the big numbers, but I still think Lovebites offers something unique. The musicianship is so good that it needs a different delivery system---it doesn't blend very well into a hot, sweaty English pub or Echoplex. I'm just not sure what that delivery system would be. I'm thinking maybe they should go full-bore into a new format: 40-minute, classically structured metal pieces that tell a story. Asami is perfect for that. Their quieter stuff like "Swan Song" or "Epilogue" and "Frozen Serenade" can't be played in these venues, and those songs are their strength.....any band that can arrange a song such as SSS should be heard by millions of people.

Goosebumps from Nemophila? Nope. Or even Nightwish? Not me. Their music has a spiritual aura around it, no doubt. The melodies? Her voice? The power of the music? Idk. "Swan Song" makes me get misty-eyed and I have no idea why. ("There's no crying in Metal!!") It happens every time I listen to it. But.....I still feel that their 'gospel' could reach even larger audiences if done correctly overall.
