Godley Valley, Macaulay River, Lake Tekapo drive, New Zealand South Island Braided Rivers

Drone footage of a beautiful drive on a perfect day. Decided to go exploring and see how far we could go up the road to the mouth of Lake Tekapo. What a stunning drive it was. We were even more surprised when we saw the beautiful braided Macaulay River from the air.
We ended up coming to the Macaulay River, it is a river of the Mackenzie Country of New Zealand's South Island. It flows south from the Two Thumb Range, part of the Southern Alps. Its valley merging with that of the Godley River shortly before it enters the northern end of Lake Tekapo.
