When I see what is going on in Ukraine, Lahaina and the surge of wickedness, Psalm 2, 36, and 46 give me such peace and hope. The wicked shall be no more...The meek shall inherit the earth!
I love all the Psalms project songs but 37 is one of my favorites, it is always so uplifting when I am feeling down and gives me peace. Thank you all for what you do
What a fantastic voice that young man has!🤗 I've heard priests and pastors trying to "sing" the Psalms - to devastating effect!! But this was a very real treat for the ears! I should add that I'm not a follower of any denomination, or even religion, but I really do believe that these types of musical treatments can be set outside of religion, but still appeal to and give benefit to those people who have fallen away from the faith most were brought up in. And I have seen over the years that the lack of morals & human decency has led to many places around the world suffering from that lack! It's really dreadfully sad and worrying that there are fewer and fewer people being brought up in the mainstream Abrahamic religions, whilst too many are falling into the extremist versions of religions - as well as 'secret' societies, extremist groups, political parties, gangs, criminal families and would be Hitlers, Stalins, Mao Zedongs, Kims & Putins! And for us, as parents & grandparents, that's a frightening prospect! 🫣 Another concern is that there's Never enough - sometimes none at all - pushback against people blaming God for All the many horrific events that assail His wonderful creation. But people, especially the religious leaders, don't explain that; Lucifer, Satan, the Devil and his many, many demons & their minions have some dominion over the earth and too easily influenced humans! That's who Really deserves the Blame and Repudiation that is erroneously, but too often, given to God ! 🙄☘️P0G🍀🫣

Since I discovered this project, I love to listen singing psalms. I heard about singing psalms but the interest came after listening the music of this project. You are making a great ministry! I believe that such treasure as the psalms, are a very good source for lyrics because of their theological content. I listen your singing psalms every day, since I discovered you, here on youtube but on apple music too!

In this crazy world, we need this today, as we always have.. So grateful to hear this set to music, to calm my heart and mind and get me focused back on what is the most important thing, The Lord our God!!! He is the desire of my heart!!
Enjoyed the part of the chorus "Delight Yourself In the Lord and He will give you the Desires of your Heart" and how the end was a slower tempo. Excellent melody! I could not believe how fast and enjoyable this long psalm was so easy to listen to.

@bessie9755 Hi Bessie. I had a little bit of struggle following your comment, but hopefully, what I share will be an encouragement and blessing to you. Delighting yourself in the Lord is about finding Him delightful... His way delightful, His truth (the truth) delightful. It's agreeing with God, and having your own heart's desires and thoughtlife conformed to what he says is good. That confident knowledge of the Lord's goodness is rooted in what He did for us at the cross. He saved a sinner like me. It will likely surprise you, but I don't currently attend a conventional church... but because He has taken my heart of stone and given me a heart of flesh, I now delight in the things He does. He loves His people, I now love His people. I love discussing the things of the Lord with other believers, I hunger for the fellowship. The Lord strengthens us to share each others burdens, to serve one another, to worship the Lord together. The body of Christ (aka His people) is a gift God has given us as believers. God is good! If you're struggling to delight yourself in the Lord, look to the cross. If you are struggling to love your local church members (fellow believers), look to the cross. God changes hearts. In His mercy, He changed mine. Praying for you, Bessie. 😊❤️
