"Ursoo" is an interjection (like YEAH! or WOO-HOO!) used in traditional Korean folk music. This song and the music video have lots of traditional Korean references - it was written as a response to BTS haters who were accusing the group of becoming too 'westernized'. BTS is replying back that they are Korean, love all things Korean in their heritage and are NOT ashamed of being Korean, but that they are also not one-dimensional human beings. There are a lot of different sides to themselves that they love and aren't afraid to express, including their love and appreciation for things both Korean AND non-Korean (like traditional African dance!)

They have an entire album trilogy called "Love Myself". The first is Her, the second album is Tear and the last album is Answer (all about being true to yourself, but finding out the hard way through heartbreak that you first have to love yourself before being loved or loving others). Permission to Dance MV also had the send in your dance short, recently. ai hope you got to see the presentation of those. first it was like a premeire, then the video itself. I didn’t know they had the contest back at Idol, too.
