Surviving a Snowstorm in a Van - Van Camping For Emergency

- Here is another great adventure during my winter van trip!
I was driving when a policeman told me the road was closed furthermost due to the heavy snowfall and there were'nt enought machines to clean the it because this storm was bigger than expected. So I decided to stop beside the road and this place was my camping spot. Other people could sleep inside a school offered by the village to serve as emergency shelter.
Only local traffic was allowed, and I couldn't make it out of the heavy snow with the van, even after digging a long time but luckily there was a 4x4 driver kindly enough to pull me out of the ice.

So this whole camping thing is about cooking,cooking eating,eating and sleeping
....and enjoy those moments 😊

I like snow when I can watch it on your videos 😂 spent a few years living in deep snow in Alaska, put a fork in me I'm done. Moved back to sunny N Florida I live close to Blue springs 72° temperature year round. Love your mini yellow van reminds me of the yellow submarine song 😂 sonething calming and serene keeping warm looking out your window when ya can at the snow drifts keep blowing in. Hi, I always enjoy your videos. For whatever reason, I find the serenity and cooking to be very relaxing…and satisfying. I really dig the interior of your van…it appears to perhaps be a lightly stained birch luan material but a little difficult to distinguish in the video but regardless, it’s beautiful and warm. I also have a great appreciation for your videography skills. Excellent. It’s not easy to capture one’s interest without any dialogue. Thanks for sharing👍

Harsh conditions there but seems like you cope very well. I start my van life in 2 weeks. But I'll be worrying more about the heat here in Australia 😅 safe journey

I see myself doing this in the near future. I raised 4 kids by myself. They're all grown now but it took everything i could make to accomplish it. I have zero retirement at 51. I figure I have 10 or 15 working years left in me. So what better way to save up some money.

Uma grande aventura. 2 perguntas: por que voce não acendeu o fogão a lenha e por que não usa correntes nas rodas? Tenho 72 anos e quando moço tivemos duas kombis e eram geladas por dentro em época de frio. Algumas tinham ar quente mas as nossas não tinham. Mas adorei o vídeo e você comeu muito bem. Até a próxima aventura.

É farinha de tapioca, típico do Brasil. Feita de uma raiz chamada de mandioca.

É farinha de tapioca, feita da raiz da mandioca. Pode ser recheada com ingredientes doces ou salgados. É um alimento típico do Brasil.
