I love your reviews.... You took the basic Cayenne when most other reviewers went for the S or Turbo just for their own fun and not the viewers consideration. I hope I can afford a Cayenne someday and its good to know that the base model will do just fine in terms of power. Thank you

Excellent video and review as we've come to expect from Tomas & co. Watching you drive on the roads of Crete brought back many good memories of the time I spent a month holidaying there when the roads where not quite as good as you experienced. Fortunately I had the perfect car for back then, a Citroen 2CV!

Terrific video. Overall, I like the new design. I love horizontal and parallel lines on vehicle exteriors. The front grill, and also the tail lights that cover the rear width. Very attractive.

Never been a fan of the Cayenne looks, but this time I think they nailed the rear quite well.

WOW, great looking subject as usual, and the Porsche looks pretty good too! ;-) Another reason to consider to choose to not to pick the sport seats is, as you demonstrated, that the rear seats will not fold flat (I think it is a 15 degree penalty) due to the side bolsters.
10:20 Hah ha ha.. tops Thomas! Exterior has same appeal/balance as smaller Macan. Interior ambience/dash lay-out and dials has really improved greatly. Main physical buttons mixed with some touch screen is good. Really like the 3 spoke design of the steering wheel and center tachometer dial with TFT screens at both ends. Kudos to Porsche.
Black wheel arches on the white vehicle trick you in thinking the 20-inch wheels seem smaller.
Do believe night vision does help a lot especially seeing further where normal vision just isn't enough and where there is not many/or no street lamps on one or both sides of the road.

I think that the Cayenne looks nicer in light colours/White and with the black wheel-arch trims rather than the ugly-looking painted version.

New key reminds me of a widebody Prius. There’s actually one in Super GT. It uses a mid mounted LMP engine.
Thanks for the fantastic review as always. One question: I thought only the PSCB brakes equipped cars with the larger brake discs and white calipers have the new surface coating. Do the regular cayenne brakes now also have a new coating?

I think they did the smart thing, keeping the looks mostly the same. It looks good to me, especially in this lovely color. Reminds me of the BMW 3 series (E46) I had in the color 'stahlblau'.
The interior is really nice too, although I have my doubt about using the touch controls for everything, I would prefer some old fashioned knobs here and there. But maybe it's easy to get used to.
And it sounds great, drives great with the base engine. Sounds like an easy choice for those, who can afford it! :-))

I just had to return to this particular SUV. To me this is the perfect car! I've owned/driven all manner of vehicles and yet this car does everything I desire/need! I'm not really greedy so make mine the Cayenne S model and I'll no longer feel like I need something more!
What a lovely car. Make mine a S model and make it white with the wood options for the interior and add the new brakes with the hi-temp coating so I can have the white brake calipers too!
Top of dashboard look quite similar especially with this chrono clock to Maserati Levante...

Great choice showing us the base v6 gas engine. In country where i came from, anything over than the base engine is too expensive due to tax.

I think they've hit the mark with this redesign. As much as I like Lexus, I much prefer the Porsche design in comparison to the RX's "monster car" look. Btw, the restrained blue I like a lot . . maybe we could call it "Sub-Thomas" blue.

Nice color. Design much more resolved that the old. Especially the rear lower valance design cleaner than the previous model.
I had hoped the styling would have moved more to the Macan which I think is a stunning car.
The new rear of the Cayenne is a real eyecatcher 😮😍 I really like the new interior and exterior elements since the Panamera got launched 👍
I hope there will also be a V8 diesel available very soon. My absolute favorite are the Turbo / Turbo S and GTS models but the power of the "normal" S model is also enough . 😘

A bit late to this magnificent review! Here’s a question however....with this base model, would you take it with standard springs or the air suspension? I thought the standard suspension made the car feel “tighter” and sportier. Some reviewers state there is more body roll with standard suspension compared to air suspension; I thought the opposite...??! Thanks
Never drove one with standard suspension, sorry. But it shouldnt be bad.
