He used to pastor at Crossroads here in Evansville, where I used to go to church (we’ve changed churches recently not left). I’ve always loved hearing Ken, and have missed him much since he left. Wife and I attended for the first time. historically never been fans of mega churches. We were happily surprised by the sermon, the praise group, the congregation, including the greeters. We see why Southeast is blessed. We plan on attending again.
I'm watching with teary eyes on this Father's Day. What a gift you're sharing with us in the family, Uncle Ken. I'm learning a few details I didn't know before and I'm touched so deeply. Thank you for being the father figure for me throughout the decades. I appreciate this story that's so alive with vibrancy of grandpa's life and legacy! Today I played my guitar; the one he picked out for me when I was 17. The rhythm of my life continues with resonance of deep and abiding faith in Christ, and for his being the father figure to me even though he was grandpa... Happy Father's Day!!
