It’s a respect thing. The higher up in elo you go, the more respectful people get about 1v1s. This isn’t always the case, but it’s a general rule of thumb

I figured he was more upset at the fact that when you widow 1v1, using smg is really frowned upon. Against other heroes with movement abilities, I think it’s okay to use smg. If an illari is in my face, I’m spraying bullets in their face too
