God and religion are an individuals personal issue -not the government's or its country. Iran and Saudi Arabia are led by Islam and look how great that's turned out for decades now.
The southern border is not wide open, but it has certain points that are weaker for refugees to come through who were not already approved, and that bit has been wildly exaggerated by conservative media bcs they know they can scare misinformed Americans who lean conservative. Lack of self control also has nothing to do with the government, that is a problem of the individual, but there are social programs to help things like mental illness.
And bigger government? Who is trying to push for nationwide ban on abortion? Ban on same sex marriage and even interracial marriage? Didn't the conservative SCOTUS overturn a reproductive right for women? That's an act of bigger government overstepping in the lives of people. Banning embryo freezing? That's overstepping in people's ability to reproduce at a later date.
-those are what Republicans are pushing for and don't want Americans or black people Americans to know about.

As a construction worker and bartender for 20 plus years, I see it this way, too many people who make a comfortable living and that’s the American way so I think that’s great they achieved that, but they talk about how life is in America and fight tooth and nail about politics, but thier lifestyle is completely different then any one making under 60,70 grand a year right now, for example I’ll use my parents as a example, they came from absolutely nothing and did well for themselves, but when your pensions are a fixed amount and since The Adults took over. Everything they have to pay for has greatly gone up, groceries and the electric Bill being the worst, of course it’s very easy for someone to say vote democrat bc it’s not effecting them on a daily basis and their so disconnected to their communities who are suffering and struggling, in the meantime thiers countless American hero’s who are unknown doing the work, trying to make a difference, instead...
