No , I am not suggesting such a thing , what I'm asserting is that DR. Eboni Marshall Truman's emergence is the sign of Black America's awakening to our need for liberation from Judeo/Christian sexism, classism and a hetropatriarchal caste system . Black Theology must rescue black Christian's and Hebrew Israelites and save them from eternal affixation to the idea of a white savior.
Rev Dr Eboni Marshall Turmam is one of my favorite preachers. Every sermon she gives is always so powerful, challenging, life giving & so focused on black theology. Thank you for lifting us up & encouraging us that the Lord is with us.

@@rev.sheathompson I’m well aware of who she is and what she’s capable of. Her preaching ability isn’t in question. Her motives are. Two things can be true at once. She’s a good preacher AND she’s trying to force her way into a church, Abyssinian, that doesn’t want her. Let’s not be afraid to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time
Wasted all that time getting those degrees, to not preach the text, but preaching politics, and feminism, and womanism, to a people that don’t want her to be their pastor. She definitely has an axe to grind. The pulpit is no place for that. That’s probably one of the reasons, they don’t want her as their pastor.
What she is saying is the truth but sometimes you got to look further when you question the motives of some people, no matter what message they are presenting. The motive to sue a church for not accepting the fact that you are not the choice for a position speaks to your character.

Until you know the whole truth. Don’t judge! People forget the church is a non profit organization and there are some rules they must follow. Discrimination is real. And when a person makes a statement they are qualified but they are a women. This is a problem for us all. The church must be accountable! They have a human resource department and they forget to check the rules. So , yes it’s a church, but it’s a business. Too!

Not culture or Black History Or depression and oppression of a race of people … which is free in Christ Jesus ..Preach the Gospel that regardless of what happens and what will happen God sent his Son Jesus The Christ ! To save us from Our sins !! That in Christ Jesus We have Victory that our testimonies shall be we have been through the rain , flood and terrors of life but we have overcome not by our efforts only but because of Jesus Christ Our lord and savior that through his Love he has given us Grace and the ministry of reconciliation back to The Father ! So now the the sufferings of these present times rather black white or any race are not worthy to be compared to what God shall reveal to us in Glory …to the Jew Greek and any man or women boy or Girl that receives Christ Jesus as the only begotten son of God ! …
It is okay when the sermon is not addressing or relating to you. She is a Dr and her focus in on Black Theology. A people who have felt that the Lord has not been with them as they continue to experience systematic oppression. There are people who need her voice & the Lord is using her with her passion.
