Glad you enjoyed it! The Pacific Northwest is my favorite part of the country to just go and explore. There's so many cool places to visit and it's such a beautiful area. Thanks for watching my friend!
I can't help it, I love your videos when you choose to visit the Pacific NW! I know I wax ad nauseum about how gorgeous our part of the world is, but well, it is! Keep on with videos. I love them!
I do my best to describe things as close to what they as possible. I'm not in the clickbait game. Sometimes firm, rough, hard landings can be tricky, as they often seem much smoother on camera than they actually were, but I too felt firm was the best adjective fort his one haha. Thanks for watching!
Well it was kind of right in the middle. I don't know what it is about Seattle, but when I fly Alaska into there, they always seem to plant the wheels pretty firmly. Maybe they're trying to make specific turnoffs. This was what I'd call a firm landing. Not smooth, but not like knock your teeth out haha.
@@sla31 Hmm, ok, interesting... I had a pretty "planted" landing in Berlin 2021... But that was a too late flare, but it was a bit "smoother" than yours. Sorry if some sentences are misspelled or "miswritten" - greetings from Germany 😂
Great Video SP! That aircraft is equipped with Boeing’s short field package or SFP. This means the speed brakes open farther and I believe the slats extend farther. When the reverse thrust is deactivated, the speedbrakes return to the position you are used to seeing on a 737. Hope that helps!
Generally they've been one of my favorite airlines to fly on in the US. I'm flying on them a lot this month, so we'll see how they are now in the midst of a potential pilot strike haha.
Might be a navy pilot 👀, nice video and nice choice of words “firm”.
I do my best to describe what's in the video and nothing more. I'm not in the clickbait business haha. Thanks for watching!
I aint gonna lie but that is sum great scenary
I always look forward to watching your videos! Especially the ones featuring my hometown, Seattle!
I'm glad you enjoy them. A lot from Seattle coming up soon!
This was a beautiful video. Loved the reflection of the clouds on the wing and the PNW. Thanks SP!

Breezy and beautiful! Thanks for another stunning video!

Well I can’t argue with you. I don’t live o. The PNW but it’s my favorite part of the country to visit.
Awesome , Thanks Skylite 😊
No problem! Plenty more on the way!
beautiful landing! 🤩
Thanks for watching my friend!
Phenomenal!
We love a choppy Seattle approach ☀️💙🤙🏾
it is not always bumpy coming into seattle its 80 percent of the time pretty smooth coming in and out
For me, the windier and gustier it was, the better my landings were. Not sure why, but a calm day was my worst nightmare.
Very clean window! 😃
It's always nice when the window is clean and clear of spots or other contamination!
very epic
Go Hawks!
"Firm" was the correct term. (Thanks for not
using "rough" or "awful" as clickbait...)

Boom! XD Nice Video! How would you rate this landing? Was it really hard or acceptable?

Great fly! Have you ever slept while holding the camera during flight?
I have actually fallen asleep before haha. Those early morning flights are rough.
Why do the spoilers drop slightly at 14:25?
That is a good question. One that I actually don't know the answer for. Perhaps someone who does know will see this and enlighten us.

8/10 bit hard
IM BACK
Welcome back my friend!
How do you like flying Alaska Airlines?
Generally they've been one of my favorite airlines to fly on in the US. I'm flying on them a lot this month, so we'll see how they are now in the midst of a potential pilot strike haha.
That might be the Alaska plane I threw up on going to Hawaii…🫢
I'm sorry, that was Ryanair sh*t though ngl.
your lucky you didn’t experience a shit ton of turbulence along with fog on a descent. it happened to me and it fucking scared me.
