My momma had me watching SISTER ACT and I was born in 1996! I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder at 9 years old. This woman just changed my life. I'm definitely buying this book!

Yes 9 years old. Lol unfortunately, 18 years old thing, that’s not the case. Atleast in Louisiana. Well, basically all of USA I would think. But don’t quote me on that.

She has me in tears but she is so anointed for this, this bright light and pure soul is needed for the world we are in today. When she started speaking in tongues I busted out laughing but she felt every word she was speaking. Jennifer Lewis is the IT factor. Wise, full of courage and full of unconditional love.
I remember seeing her one night walking on 34th st. In ‘06 with a young guy on her arm and I didn’t recognize her until she threw her head back and laughed so hard and loud then she proceeded to laugh down the street. I was trying to tell my friends who she is but couldn’t remember her name in the moment and kept repeating “you know she plays everybody’s mama” 😂.

This woman is so iconic and so is her work. Two of my favorites is when she was on In Living Color. She was on the phone and a thief broke into the house and she beat him down and kept gossiping on the phone. Her Tyler Perry role when she fell inside the grave with the casket. She is just too much.
