In this webinar you’ll see a few tips for working with young beginners the way they will enjoy (and you too).
I would like to present a technique of teaching English without translating or interfering with mother tongue from their very first lesson. Immersion into English-only environment can help children acquire the language in a natural and effective way. I’ll speak about the approach that uses activities composed and interlinked profoundly in the first three lessons in lives of young beginners.
Sylvie is a teacher trainer focusing on teaching English to children aged 4-15, with more than 25 years of experience. She specialises in teaching English through art and stories, publishes language game books and story-based teaching sets for children (Pearson ELT Teachers‘ Award for the best innovation). She presents at webinars all around the world, she has also worked as an ELT consultant (NILE, Norwich and the British Council).
