Santa Helena (please ,do not pronounce it as Santa Hilina(Heeleena)) ,seems to be one of the most thrillingly-looking islands on the Earth ,because of its so heavenly standing in middle of a whole ocean !!! And it is not a tropical island full of snakes !!! It is somewhat sub-tropical and so lovely for hiking and living !!! Thank you for this wonderful video !!!

I've enjoyed your videos on St Helena thoroughly. I'm visiting the island next month staying at Mantis hotel like you did. How was the Wi-Fi internet at the Mantis?
We were there in April. The wifi was slow. Mantis provides a voucher every day for 24h (one device/room), extra devices had to be paid. They were trying to change the Wifi to a faster better system, not sure if that is already done. The future for the island seems to be Starlink but there are some legal hurdles still. Happy travels ❤️

First of all thank you. As a citizen of the Czech republic I do not need e-visa but I need to get a health insurance to cover all potencial risks. May I ask where you got the health insturance? I suppose it should be translated in English.

Regarding insurance we used World Nomads but any insurance (in English) will do if it covers the below
“Valid Medical Insurance of at least £175,000 (or equivalent) which covers emergency medical treatment including aeromedical evacuation or other means to pay for treatment to cover yourself for the duration of stay is required. You may be asked to provide proof on arrival which must be in ENGLISH. Paper or electronic proof of insurance is accepted. Please be aware though that there is no Wi-Fi available in the Arrivals Hall at St Helena Airport, so electronic proof will need to be downloaded to your device prior to departure to St Helena
Proof of a ticket for both arrival and departure.
Also note the following you need to pay on arrival for your short term visa :
Payment (cash only) for the short-term permit (20GBP), no credit cards accepted.
