Natty's story in the MV is representative of her real life story: Natty has been in over 6 companies *over* 10 years fighting for debut. She joined the reality show SIXTEEN which is the show that made Twice at the age of 12 years and 11 months old, by herself from Thailand (she came to Korea at 10). She literally made it to the very final episode but was eliminated not because she wasn't good enough but because she was too young to debut. Was on the show Idol School, didn't make the final lineup(it was proven to be rigged). She trained in JYPE. she trained in SM with the Red Velvet girls and shared a dorm with them. She literally knows everyone. She had a solo debut and still had to go back to work being a trainee. She has had a very long, hard road despite her immense talent. When you said 'man Natty is having a really shitty day' it's because this has been her life up to this point. 'Failing' again, and again, rejected, again and again, struggling again and again. No one helps her and they all just watch her struggle and fall and struggle to get back up again on her own because...that's what they did in real life. She has been fighting for over 10 years but finding these other 3 girls is when everything comes together and starts to be okay because they finally have each other. Kiss of life only has bangers, all of their songs are amazing, and the members have a story of being in other entertainments before: - Julie did ballet when she was younger, and when she moved to Korea she started doing hiphop, and she was also a trainee at TheBlackLabel (YG AKA. the ones Blackpink are under) - Natty has been in 2 gameshows: Sixteen (the one that formed Twice), and Idol School (Which formed Fromis_9) in which she, despite being a fan favorite, didn't win, so she was pretty known already and fans were happy she was finally able to debut (I'm guessing her failing her audition in 'Bye My Neverland' is a reference to that) - Belle was a songwriter in SM entertainment (The ones with Aespa and Red Velvet), and she also composed songs for Le Sserafim and Purple Kiss (She is also called the Ariana Grande of Kpop becuase of her vocals) - Haneul hasn't been anywhere before being in S2 Entertainment before I think, which doesn't make her a less amazing performer though ofc

I understand why their company markets their official positions a certain way so as to not be confusing to the general public and so it doesn't seem like competing or anything so they say that Natty is the only main dancer and Julie is the lead dancer but the truth is they are both absolutely main dancers. If they were in a bigger group say of 8 or 9 people they would call them both main dancers (like Kai and Lay of Exo, or Mina and Momo of Twice who are both officially main dancers). But simply because it's a group of only 4 they don't want it to seem like they are competing as dancers so the positions are said that way which makes sense since Julie is already the only main rapper and the leader. But Julie is a main dancer, you can see if you watch any stage, practice, challenge, etc. Same thing with vocals; Belle and Haneul definitely and even Natty would all be Main Vocals in basically any other group, especially in 4th/5th gen vocals. But it's too messy to put that as the official position in a group of 4. In Nmixx they let it happen because they were originally 7 so that's enough people to say both Lily and Haewon are main vocals without it seeming too crowded. Belle: known as the pretty/pop 'ariana' voice, high notes, whistle notes, runs, belts, adlibs (but she also has great rock and r&b colors to her vocals) Haneul: The most stable vocal live, extremely strong, beautiful voice, belter (she auditioned with jesse j's domino. There's a video I still go back to of them singing different songs live on radio and she sang a song she used to sing all the time to train with and the song was so freaking difficult and exhausting that just listening to her singing as a singer myself I was so impressed and exhausted. She's very good at sports and athletic, her sister is like an athletic coach or something too so yeah, that's probably why her core is so strong and she has such amazing breath control and power to her voice) Natty: The sultry, unique tone, straight up r&b vocals (her role models are all female r&b vocalists) and then you still have Julie the melodic rapper sub vocal, so yeah these 4 together are really scary tbh😅
