Thanks for the tutorial! I memorized how to make and have gone through an entire pack of 50 6x6 sheets of origami paper and countless sheets of notebook paper. I make them at school all the time and give them away when they are finished.
Master Mori This is by far the most difficult model I have ever folded. I am a novice at Origami, but love it. I went through about twenty to thirty sheets of paper before I got something even resembling a dragon. I'm going to keep folding and practicing till I get it. Thank you for you videos, and your time. I hope you get to feeling better.
Your dragon is quite realistic. Much patience and good work. Keep my thumbs up. Ваш дракон вполне реалистичный. Большое терпение и хорошая работа. Держите мой палец вверх.
Some people are throwing fits...I'm a novice with origami & was thrilled when I made a basic rabbit. I did this without the sound, since my ears have been ringing. It's nice that he's talking, but with this you have to be more visual. Don't lean so much on what he's saying & watch. It's the tiny details that make it hard. The video was good, & as long as you pause & re-play when you get stuck, you'll get it. :)
I appreciate when you tell us to do it on other side too, that you show us again, and not just skip the video ahead. Great video. Going to watch one more time before I start folding. Thank you again.
only once when it was too hard to see what he did there. btw i did it very slowly with a lot of patience so maybe this is the reason why i succesed, it took me more than 5 hours.
Challenge accepted, after i'm done with the wolf just got done with another dragon. I'm gonna make this level to swedish cause if a swede can do it then it's too easy for an asian ps. It's a joke except the part about making it. I jsut want the wolf more than a second dragon
аригами чувак ты почти освоил а чтоб освоить искусство съемки и еще и обучающие сначала на своем столе тоже отметь точки рамки фокусировки и не забывать убирать пальцы из кадра после каждой складки матай на ус))
If you want to make a complex dragon,I would suggest starting with this one.As compared to the others, this one is easiest.I made it on my first try,and I'm going to make it again so it's better. Thanks to how clear these were,it was fun and easy.
Thank you so much Tadashi, I tried Jo's tutorial for this for father's day but I got confused and I was running out of time, but I then attempted again with your tutorial and made it in time :) Thank you so much, my dad loved it.
The same of the model is just called "Fiery Dragon". The actual model doesn't have to be exactly the same as the name. He could have called it "Potato" and it wouldn't really change anything
turtlelore 2 It just gets under my skin sometimes, mainly because I had been pretty much conditioned to be able to tell the differences by my otherkin friends.
This was awesome man i feel like my outcome would have been a lot better if i had actual origami paper instead of printing paper but i am proud of it cant wait to try the INFAMOUS WESTERN DRAGON
I love Origami! Thank you so much for this video! I'm not professional when it comes too this stuff and I learn best from watching, not reading it from a book. Rob
Hello! Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I'm beggining in the world of origami. I don't know what path to follow, but I'd like to get to understand and use crase patterns. I'm starting now, but I can do this model already. What tould you recommend me to study? Any books in particular? Thanks!
gave up 20.30 because the quality got too bad and i could see a think. could you (or someone else) pls pls pls make this video with a better quality? i know, it's not that cheap to buy a nex cam but you do this so great and explain so good and it's such a pitty that u can't see anything at the end sometimes.
to the bad comments : This is a projects for pros only. Go learn simple ones before tackling the hard ones like these. And i have memorised tons of hard origami projects. but still, i don't consider myself a pro yet. And the trick to making good origami is to never give up.
Awesome tutorial. I was able to create this nice piece without any knowledge of origami and I'm pretty proud of it now. In fact I only made paper planes so far. I made it with an ordinary piece of paper and was only struggeling with the head a little :D
thank you very much for this! I have to say that while it wasn't as hard as expected, it was still very challenging. that being said, it turned out great! you should try to show what the model looks like more often, as it can be kinda hard to see.
hey i made Snake dragon from the tutorial made by tadashi mori from normal A4 printer paper, am i gonna be able to make this one from the same paper or does it require even bigger sheet than Snake dragon?
Try Jo nakashima's tutorial, it is more recent which means a better resolution, he shows diagrams and although he does not speak he does use captions. He also teaches you how to make the details.
Hey man, great video, I just want to ask u, I wanna put a origami video on youtube which contain the instruction of that thing which I make myself and is my own idea, do I need to copyright it first?how? Is all of my need to copyright if there has many ?
Tadashi Mori: OK you're going to fold that triangle inward. Me: It's just a small step, I can skip this right? My dragon won't have any problems if I skip a step Tadashi Mori: Now you're going to take that small triangle and bring it upwards while you push the large triangle down. Me: ??
Me parece excelente, sin embargo hay partes del vídeo que no se aprecian y eso hace que no puedas terminar la figura, podrías hacer un vídeo del mismo pero desde varios ángulos para que sea más fácil ver los dobleces... gracias ...
I just made this but his video is really hard in explanation I would reccomend everyone watches jonakashina's video on the fiery dragon because it has better detail and its in hd , but I'm not trying to be rude to tadashimori overall he's my all time teacher he was the one who made me a expert in origami
First one looked like a duck Second one looked like a cat Third time it looks like the dragons wonkey brother Fourth time it finally looked like a dragon
hey tadashi mori im a great fan of you it took me a year but now i finally finished the fiery dragon its awesome thanks for that ! but i also want to make the origami buddha by hojyo takashi but i cant find a proper video of it on the internet only diagrams and thats extremely hard i only get to the point of step 23 and there are lik 60-70 steps(scribd.com) pls make a tutorial on the buddha and keep making videos of cool origamis like these :D
Honestly this isn't a very difficult model especially since Tadashi features many more that are much more complex. I would personally say this model is about intermediate to high intermediate level.
Thirty five minutes and fifty five seconds is VERY misleading. Took me over three and a half hours and a LOT of paper wrestling and paper RIPPING (ew, tape D:) but I MADE IT! YEAAAAA! Call me crazy lol but MAN I feel so accomplished O.o Like who needs A's in math class when you can take all evening and fold a DRAGON instead of doing MATH HOMEWORK?! Tip: Persistence is key. Blast some music (I enjoyed some Breaking Benjamin and the lot) and talk to a friend! Take breaks! You can do it! :D
lol thats just what i was thinking i started out super excited when i made a ninja star but since then i have found harder oragami but as longs as you pause and replay it you will get there eventually. Well put TearsofTeal
So he holds your hand and walks you through this nightmare for 34 minutes. Then just when you're almost done, he runs out of gas and basically says "I don't feel like doing this anymore, you figure the rest out." And that is when I ripped mine.
Thanks for the tutorial! I memorized how to make and have gone through an entire pack of 50 6x6 sheets of origami paper and countless sheets of notebook paper. I make them at school all the time and give them away when they are finished.
Master Mori

Thank you for you videos, and your time.
I hope you get to feeling better.
just keep practicing when I didn't get it I kept trying and then I was able too fold this version, and version 2!
Animaljam Nerd Oh you big show off!!!!!!😝
+Thomas Pigg Are you jealous?
Animaljam Nerd Not at all. I'm just glad that I'm not "the only first time spazz" there is out here! 😝
Thomas Pigg Wait now I'm confused lol. What do you mean?
Your dragon is quite realistic. Much patience and good work. Keep my thumbs up.
Ваш дракон вполне реалистичный. Большое терпение и хорошая работа. Держите мой палец вверх.

did it on the first try! and the only origami i tried before was a bird! :D
you sir might have a gift!
skizzik121 miss* :P
It's my first origami too and i just cant do the tail >.
it took me a lot of time to do that, i watched some parts over and over again to make sure that i did it as well. but it still was the first try.
only once when it was too hard to see what he did there. btw i did it very slowly with a lot of patience so maybe this is the reason why i succesed, it took me more than 5 hours.
Experience level : asian
well I'm Asian and i couldn't make it
I made it and I'm hispanic
Beto Dominguez I am definitely NOT asan, and this was a piece of cake. ( not literally) but I see your point :)
Challenge accepted, after i'm done with the wolf just got done with another dragon. I'm gonna make this level to swedish cause if a swede can do it then it's too easy for an asian
ps. It's a joke except the part about making it. I jsut want the wolf more than a second dragon
Rule goes for me, I can do it and I am asian
аригами чувак ты почти освоил а чтоб освоить искусство съемки и еще и обучающие сначала на своем столе тоже отметь точки рамки фокусировки и не забывать убирать пальцы из кадра после каждой складки матай на ус))
I think all your work is amazing
If you want to make a complex dragon,I would suggest starting with this one.As compared to the others, this one is easiest.I made it on my first try,and I'm going to make it again so it's better. Thanks to how clear these were,it was fun and easy.
I like this dragon best.
27:32 I'm raging so hard I'm going super saiyan

Thank you so much Tadashi, I tried Jo's tutorial for this for father's day but I got confused and I was running out of time, but I then attempted again with your tutorial and made it in time :)
Thank you so much, my dad loved it.
Impressive that you did that without looking at the diagrams!
Super hard!!!
Just follow the steps lol
But that's a wyvern...
Yuss

turtlelore 2 It just gets under my skin sometimes, mainly because I had been pretty much conditioned to be able to tell the differences by my otherkin friends.
***** I'm actually tempted to take this as spam...
What is this even supposed to be?
level: easy
I have no idea why am I doing this nine years later. But the best origami ever😆😆😆
This was awesome man i feel like my outcome would have been a lot better if i had actual origami paper instead of printing paper but i am proud of it cant wait to try the INFAMOUS WESTERN DRAGON
Как два пальца!
I love Origami! Thank you so much for this video! I'm not professional when it comes too this stuff and I learn best from watching, not reading it from a book.

after three months of stopping and starting this video - I'VE DONE IT AT LAST!!!!!
DAMN! I blinked. Now I have to go back and watch that part again... DAMN
It took me a couple tries, but I finally did it. My most complicated origami yet.
Awesome guide, mate. Took me a couple of attempts to make something that looks like what you did :)
Wonderful tutorial, mostly easy to follow. My dragon came out a bit rumpled but still a nice model. Thank you!
Please, buy new glasses. Tadashimori is simply brillant and i made it easily. Nice Vid!

I made it with an ordinary piece of paper and was only struggeling with the head a little :D
How was that black dragon made? I thought I was making that one, the wings of the black one are way cooler!
way better video than Jo Nakashima
thank you very much for this! I have to say that while it wasn't as hard as expected, it was still very challenging. that being said, it turned out great! you should try to show what the model looks like more often, as it can be kinda hard to see.
Looks AWESOME with looseleaf
I did it in just one try, but i have to practice A LOT. Thank you so much! :)
I did it!
It was far easier than I had always thought
Just started an hour ago with origami and already at 9:00. It's starting to get interesting.
Omg I just started origami this dragon is way too much for a starter!!! But it looks really good great job :)(:
Ultimate test of patience.
How does this vid have more views than Jonakashima's, his is full and teaches you how to do some very good details.
Made it! Took an hour! Not too hard but takes time.
hey i made Snake dragon from the tutorial made by tadashi mori from normal A4 printer paper, am i gonna be able to make this one from the same paper or does it require even bigger sheet than Snake dragon?
Try Jo nakashima's tutorial, it is more recent which means a better resolution, he shows diagrams and although he does not speak he does use captions. He also teaches you how to make the details.
Easy!! Only steps that may be hard are the ones where u make the base at the start and maybe the wings
turning on subtitles is hilarious haha
Aprendí a hacer este dragón hace como 2 años y ahora regreso otra vez.
thanks tadashi mori your the best i made a fiery dragon as perfect as yours! : )
Yes you do, in fact, you can get them at art stores anywhere near you
and so many pauses were made that day!
Tadoshi is great man. I like him.
This is a very easy origami for me, I also made the darkness dragon 2.0 and (trying not to sound braggy), i also memorized the Darkness Dragon 1.0
awesome u did it. UR not liek those ppl who gives up easily. A lot of ppl in the comments gave up. U know it takes time and patients... also pratice.

OMG, i didn't fold it yet, how is it?
***** You can do it tho..
Hey man, great video, I just want to ask u, I wanna put a origami video on youtube which contain the instruction of that thing which I make myself and is my own idea, do I need to copyright it first?how? Is all of my need to copyright if there has many ?
Well, this one was one of his first videos. He didn't have other models like the phoenix or western dragon on his channel yet.
Eres buenísimo, nunca habia conseguido terminar una figura origami tan compleja pero viendo tu tutorial me salio (entiendo varios idiomas
Gracias.
"First off, you're going to need a square sheet of paper" Me: Fuuuckk!!
you should make a copy of this video and speed it up , I bet that would look really awesome.
I really like this tutorial! Pls make some more tutorials like this with some complex origami!:)
when i was in the 5th grade i made this with a 1inch by 1inch paper (sticky note i divided into 4 pieces) turned out great i still have it
Finally a school project I can make
Tadashi Mori: OK you're going to fold that triangle inward.
Me: It's just a small step, I can skip this right? My dragon won't have any problems if I skip a step
Tadashi Mori: Now you're going to take that small triangle and bring it upwards while you push the large triangle down.
Me: ??
Had a bit hard time to make the tail because the folding instruction was hidden. Thankfully, I figured it out at the end.
THIS IS AMMMAAAZZING can u try to make a tut for a three headed dragon?
Me parece excelente, sin embargo hay partes del vídeo que no se aprecian y eso hace que no puedas terminar la figura, podrías hacer un vídeo del mismo pero desde varios ángulos para que sea más fácil ver los dobleces... gracias ...
I just made this but his video is really hard in explanation I would reccomend everyone watches jonakashina's video on the fiery dragon because it has better detail and its in hd , but I'm not trying to be rude to tadashimori overall he's my all time teacher he was the one who made me a expert in origami
Finally! Took me like an hour....But it looks awesome :D
Can you make this tutorial in HD resolution?
It's really hard to see with 360p
You are a true Dovahkiin!
I kind of made it up after a while, but it does look like a pretty cool dragon. Btw he needs to sort out that cough.
I did mines exactly how it looks in the video, and this is my first origami video
Whoa. Done. Took me 2 hours. I used a simple sheet out of my block, looks a little shitty, but I'm proud anyways.
Well done it took me about 8 or 9 tries.
YES!!!! I made it!!! thx tadashimori!!!
The dragon was so easy you just need to follow the directions guys!
It kind of looks like Minecraft ender dragon
I did it ! It is easy.

I agree, i made one out of refill paper, I sold it for 10 dollars in NZ currency. SWEET!!!
Hard... Im a begginer, and this was EASY!
on my first try to!
Carol Bernards jo nakashima's tutorial caused me to get really pissed off and crumple it up and set it on fire
Luke Feeney wow. Sorry!
no reason to apologise I am quite happy for you for finishing it on the first try congrats
Honestly this isn't a very difficult model especially since Tadashi features many more that are much more complex. I would personally say this model is about intermediate to high intermediate level.
Him: ' now repeat the other side'....
Me : FUUUUUUUUUUUU! *flips table*
This is the 1st origami ive ever tried, ill let you know how it goes hahah
wow this is harder than I expected
Thirty five minutes and fifty five seconds is VERY misleading. Took me over three and a half hours and a LOT of paper wrestling and paper RIPPING (ew, tape D:) but I MADE IT! YEAAAAA! Call me crazy lol but MAN I feel so accomplished O.o Like who needs A's in math class when you can take all evening and fold a DRAGON instead of doing MATH HOMEWORK?! Tip: Persistence is key. My head is spinning like crazy. Stopped making it at 18:44 my head hearts.
do we use special papers for origami ?!
So he holds your hand and walks you through this nightmare for 34 minutes. Then just when you're almost done, he runs out of gas and basically says "I don't feel like doing this anymore, you figure the rest out." And that is when I ripped mine.
This was easy to me it's easy if u use the diagrams they are on his website
