I like this book review! I enjoyed how you presented what you felt was left to be desired with this textbook, and did not just give us the generic "It's a bit more advanced," or "great for beginners." It really makes me feel more at home in the topics you're discussing, and I feel like I'm not being talked down to here.
An excellent and fair minded review. Lang's texts were certainly idiosyncratic, but always enjoyable, of the very few I'm familiar with. I first learnt calculus from Lang's Basic Calculus, I enjoyed it very much, just the right amount of rigour when starting calculus. Please do continue with your reviews.
I was considering buying that book. However for now it's obviously demanding a bit more preparation and possibly I need to take an actually glance into it before deciding to dive into it. Thank you very much for that thorough but nonetheless inspiring video. I hope I can encourage you to do more book reviews of that kind. It's really helpful.
Good question. As you might be able to tell from my other videos on linear algebra, I love Greub's books, but they require more mathematical maturity. So between the two I would probably recommend Lang for a first exposure.
These types of videos are reallly important and interesting!!! I hope i can see more

One of the best mathematical book reviews I have ever seen, please continue!
Just got this video recommended, and I'm so grateful! I hope you'll come back to this review format some day

That looks like an essential book to learn Linear Algebra.
Your review is also fantastic.
Just ordered Serge Lang's Linear Algebra from Amazon. Thanks for the clear screenshots and book review.
22:03 for his conclusion
I would love to see more reviews like this. Great job!
It was a great review, I ended feeling that it was a good example of what a review should be.
Thanks 🙏
I would be happy to see many more of such reviews 👍
Please do a review of Sheldon Axler's "Linear Algebra Done Right" and/or Paul Halmos' "Finite Dimensional Vector Spaces"!
Thanks for the suggestions! Both books are excellent but weird in their own ways, so they would make for interesting reviews.
It would also be interesting to see a review of the upcoming 4th edition of Axler’s text.

You should do more of this kind of book reviews...
I like this book review. Like you said it's very detailed as compared to most reviews.
yes, please continue with reviews. thanks.
I wish more reviews like this one existed!
Definitely do more reviews like these!
Michael Spivak's calculus is one of the best mathematics books ever written. What a clarity and buildup man
This review was really great, thanks! What book would you recommend for an introduction to linear algebra?
Would you recommend this over Werner Greub's book for a first exposure?

That was a very good book review. Please, do more. Is Greub your favorite linear algebra book?
Fantastic video! Make more!
Thank you for the in depth review. Would you be able to also review Numerical Linear Algebra by Beilina?
Yes, do more math book reviews
Great review!
MORE BOOK REVIEWS PLEAE
Hi... What textbook would you suggest for a second linear algebra course? Thanks!
Books by sheldon Axler or the one by Insel seems to be the standard out there.
Great!
In my opinion the best linear algebra book is T.S. Blyth Module theory
Yes it's a great book.
"Hopefully i didnt cause that" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
