Chinese mini excavator: 8 inch auger bit failed while planting trees

We put our 8 inch auger bit that came with our groundhog excavator to the test. The bit twisted in half on hole #7. Appears the bit is made from a very thin steel tube. We will look for another company to supply bits as this bit seemed cheaply made. But we still love our little groundhog excavator!
