- Epic battle for the victory of the Four Hills Tournament between Janne Ahonen and Jakub Janda, which eventually ended in a historical tie (despite what the Finnish commentators told us).

I still don't understand how they managed to get a tie on a 4 hills tournament
It simply happened - the same score - moreover in some of previous seasons Freund and Prevc have collected the same amount of points after ca. 30 tournaments which means ca. 60 jumps - that's even more incredible ;) but there was no tie, as in rules there was that after points the numbers of wins is important and Freund has collected more wins during the season and won the Crystal Globe.
The funniest thing was that the Finnish commentators here didn't know it was a draw, they thought Janne lost by 1 point. I think it was just in tv news after the race when they told they actually ended up draw lol
The Finnish commentator announced Ahonen to be the winner? That's funny, the exact opposite happened with the Polish commentator XD he announced Janda to be the winner until he saw the final table and realized it's a tie.
Yes, winner of this fourth leg. Like the Polish announcer, they incorrectly said Janda won the whole thing.
Finnish commentator actually announced Janda as winner by one point and then closed the sending off. Was an even bigger fail.

Ahonnen was robbed big time by the judges in the first round, while Janda got far too good notes for his jump. The way Janne bounced back in the secondattempt was just stunning. Greatest jumper ever, no doubt!
In the second too. Janda gets 5x 19.5 for what is an very tiny telemark position while Ahonen gets 19.0s for a much lower one

pff Małysz is way better than any other ski jumper only he won with advantage 44.9 points over second place
