I think it was just too generic and it sort of sounded like she was trying to be a pop rap song. In my opinion, it wasn't really a new style, it was generic, top 40 hits rap. With that being said, the first couple times I listened to Tap In I hated it but then I kept hearing it and now I actually really like it. I genuinely think anything she does will be good but I can understand why people didn't like Tap In.
