This is what happened between Bitter Reunion and Surface.
Majin is NOT Drowning, he can breath underwater.
He's mildly annoyed.
Lore -
Majin escapes The Labyrinth Zone.
After teleporting back to Angel Island VIA the ring warps, he starts looking for Unused, and more importantly... Xenophanes.
He doesn't get far before seeing Metal Sonic zoom by...
Majin : . . . Well, guess I found him... I just hope I'm not too late.

You know these other "Sonic" monsters themselves are playing a very dangerous game with Majin. In Nominal's own take, Majin seems laid back and loves to troll the "Fakers" and making their lives overall a misery (which is fitting considering the misery they bring to others) but eventually I feel Majin's going to have to flex his power just a tad bit....or maybe eat another bad tv dinner to make sure hes alive in some way...

Love how the "second" Majin is practically just him thinking up this song on the fly so he can pass the time before he finally gets to the bottom and can start actually running to find some way out. Not only is his voice distorted by the water, but his own thoughts are distorted by the ambient noises of being submerged.

Submerged (Sink Alternate) foreshadowing
Because I've been stuck in the rabbit hole of HS for years now, my brain came up with the concept of Majin being an Heir, Sylph or Knight of Time. He can jump through and to a small degree manipulate time/timelines, and uses it to help keep this world and the characters safe. His instrument is his voice/trumpet. This song is kind of like Dave arranging and playing fraymotifs on the turntables to arrange his mind and the flow of time around him. Can't help but imaging Majin with a red cloak and a trumpet, playing the melody of time, watching the session unfold and acting as a guardian to his fellow players. His actions within Four Way Fracture nicely parallel what a Time player would do, and in some ways can be seen kind of like using the Scratch construct to reset the timeline after session failure for a second chance
Interesting, I'd think Heir of Time as well. Do you have any classpects for anyone else? I personally love classpecting characters!
@@censoredmedia2939 Same! It's super fun to do, and yeah I have a few ideas. But the main reason I say Time for Majin is due to his ability to jump through time and timelines, it only loosely fits his characterization as a whole outside of that. I'd say as a whole, Breath or Heart fit him much better
I do have to agree, but i think the Heir class fits with him best, maybe a Heir of Breath? "One who inherits Breath/Freedom"?
@@censoredmedia2939 Yeah, but Knight fits his personality more. I think Knight of Heart actually makes a lot of sense for him. He fights for the protection of the souls and true personalities of those he cares about and finds, using the power of his own soul to do so. He's obviously Passive, due to his constant checking up on and protecting of the others. Which is trademark Knight behaviour. He's also technically a splinter of Sonic having taken on a whole new role and sentience. Knight of Heart "One who protects and serves Soul and Personality, through their own Soul and Personality."

Personally i don't think I'd fully be able to classpect correctly i don't really know much about the full extent of the lore in this AU unfortunately, but is always fun to talk about!

This is some deep lore, the story goes from 'Four Way Fracture', to 'Listen', to this, 'Outcome', The most likely 'Reason to Hide', then 'Bitter Reunion', the Finally 'Surface'. Very Interesting...
Edit Number idek: I decided to go through the songs Starting at FourWay Fracture, to this song. Here's what I came up with. And if you want to add your own thoughts!
Starting Point/#1 - FourWay Fracture - This got confirmed while I was asleep
#2 - Old Habits (Eggman/Majin vs Xeno) - I believe this is second in the timeline because of Majin's introduction during the song
#3- Lost To Time/Lost My Mind (Majin vs Xeno/Sonic vs Xain) - These songs cannonically happen at the same time and i thought it fit.
#4 - Breaking Point (DF vs Xain) - I think During Lost My Mind Fleetway is starting to break through, but turns into Dark Fleetway while breaking through. BTW, If Fake-Out Front was cannon to lore, it would take place at the same time as Breaking Point.
#4 - Otheside (Knuckles vs Lord X) - This happens during Breaking Point, but I had to figure out where to put it. I believe this is Lord X subtly hinting towards Unused existing.
#5 - Listen (Majin vs Unused) - Breaking Point would end as Majin gets the call that starts listen.
#6 - Surface/Reason To Hide (Unused vs Majin/Tails Solo) - These happen at the same time. While Unused and Majin fight, Tails is sitting on an edge contemplating.
#7 - Outcome/Bitter Reunion (Majin Solo/Tails vs Unused) - Majin sings to himself after falling and climbing out of the water, as Unused saves Tails and he (Unused) starts contemplating his loyalty.
#8 - Imposter Syndrome (Tails Doll vs Unused) - Unused confronts Tails Doll and tells them that He doesn't want to betray people. Tails Doll and Unused start fighting over it.
And We'll have to see after what's after this.

- The first majin (the one here), died to drowning, so it is immune to drowning
@@CincTheIdiot i didnt even know they were dead sonics. This explains so much. he wants to save sonic so he doesnt die and become a majin aswell. (Even though a majin that basicly "immune" to any of xeno's murder attempts would be pretty helpful.)

Man, I was kind of hoping Majin would find Sink in the Labyrinth Zone. Oh well, maybe another time
So to do a quick recap of Nominal's lore for VS. Sonic.exe:
Shit started at Four-Way Fracture where Majin intervened with the events of Triple Trouble. After that, we had songs about Xenophanes and his slaves interacting with each other and a song about Sonic's inner conflict, where we see Sonic and Xain(aka Xeno in Sonic's mind)'s conflict. After the roast from Majin, we got to know that Xeno and Majin are, saying lightly, on not so good terms. Meanwhile, there's also Fleetway Super Sonic in Sonic's body, which creates a situation of Sonic being in a crossfire of two evil personalities, except that one is Sonic with too much Chaos energy absorbed, and the other is a demon that shapeshifted in Sonic's shape. While Xeno and Fleetway are busy fighting over Sonic's body, Tails Doll and Majin find out about Unused - another .exe that seems to be causing trouble to the gang. TD encounters him first in Marble Zone, and then Majin finds Unused here, after which he is thrown down into water and this song happens. Oh and also we have a similar to NB's Good Ending AU where Tails is older(Reason To Hide).
Correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. Why did I do this? Well, for the funsies and so that someone who had trouble with the lore could catch up.

He's immortal. I wouldn't blame him if he wanted out of the hero game, but if he was willing to fight, the power to avoid death would be a hell of a boon. He doesn't just have the power to persist long enough to be saved. If he were determined enough... His power could save the world.
also Sink is supposed to be the original sonic so having him exist in this world where Xeno is possessing sonic's body would be conflicting

Alright so this is going to be more of a character analysis and theory’s for possible continuations. Yeah majjin doesn’t seem panicked probably just chilling in the water. Kinda like that one scene in sonic x just pouting that he got tripped up. Alright potential sequels. 1. Majjin tracks down unused (likely) 2.majjin tracks down tails to warn him (probable) 3. Majjin discovers sink in labrinth zone (In my dreams) probably not 3 way to confusing on how theirs another sonic chained to the bottom of labrinth zone.

I thought he just kicked Majin into the water judging by how he was quoting "Teriaaa!" from SA2, (Which was a great callback, and having Unused quote something which was mistranslated is perfect for his character), where Sonic was kicking some sand guardian.

I mostly made this song using kontact, but I do use soundfonts every now and then.
If you're talking about the voices, I make those myself and then put them in slicex.
