    Can't wait to see the new roof installed. My coachman RV is waiting for that next step. Ugh...I just ran out of motivation. Lol time to get back at it. Thanks for the narration and time lapse!!

    Thank you so much for your videos. Your videos have actually answered a lot of the questions that I'm running into. I sincerely appreciate your content. I'm actually performing a similar project as well. But it's on a motorhome. Your videos have helped me understand what I'm looking at. Thank you so very much

    Who do you have fix your camper bunk canvases when you come across them?

  • @flexjay87

    You are tougher than most men i know, and this much work looks like pure torture. i wonder how you can even make any money on a flip like this , so i look forward to the finished product. This camper is a good example of the kind of trouble you can get into when buying a used unit, and should be a real eye opener for people looking for their 1st used camper to purchase.

      Used units get a bad reputation. Most of them are not like this (and honestly new units have worse problems from the covid manufacture gap). I knew what I was getting into…but this one is going to a very special client. Am I making a ton of money? No. Will I make some up from the revenue from TH-cam? Yeah. But it’s not always about money-I get to bless someone very special to me with this camper!

    How do you know if you can walk on the roof? I'm kind of confused on how they say some roofs you can't walk on.. so how do you replace skylights or even redo the roof??? Thanks

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  ปีที่แล้ว

      If there’s no water damage, all roofs are walkable. If there is water damage, I just feel around with my weight to see where I’ll fall through 😂

    Alright some roofing segments. So where do I get a membrane cheap. All the prices seem real high ?

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually buy mine from recpro. You can use MNIMXX3 for 5% off. Some eBay sellers have them but I don’t know about quality. If I’m going to put the work in, I like knowing recpro has a 10 year warranty.

    Any advice/recommendations for roof replacement of popup camper?

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That one is tough. Pop up roofs are pretty much the same as this roof, foam glued to the outer aluminum with 1/4 inch plywood inside. I tried to repair it once and then gave up because I couldn’t get the foam to adhere to the aluminum. If I were to do it again, I would ditch the foam all together and build a new roof out of wood somehow
