NICE dx contacts! nice bike, too. Great video. Thanks for posting. 72 Ron
Thanks Ron, the band conditions were difficult so I was happy to get a couple of DX contacts. It was a nice (downhill) bike ride to the park but a much harder (uphill) ride back to the car afterwards. Thanks for your comments, 73
Very impressive contacts with US, congrats! And as usual, thank you for another great video.
Thank you Kao for the feedback. The band conditions were difficult so it was good to get a few DX contacts. Glad you enjoyed the video, 73
I am currently learning CW and want to start WWFF soon, these videos are super helpful. Not rushing, everything is clear. Thank you !
Thank you Arnon, glad the videos are helpful. Good luck with your CW practice. Hope you get to activate your first WWFF park soon, 73

what are your thoughts on the tp-iii?
I really like the TP-III key, it is now my favourite key. It has a very nice feel to it and it is smooth when sending CW. It is smaller than the TP-II key and fits well in the hand. It also works well with the leg-strap (optional extra) when operating portable, 73
James, I am a somewhat new ham and am curious about the device you have on the power supply line at the radio. What is its function with this particular battery? Thanks, and 73 de KO4AYC
Snap on torroid which provides an RF choke
Welcome to the hobby Gordon. As per the above reply, it is a torroid to reduce electromagnetic interference (RF) in the power cable. The other two devices in the power cable are an in-line fuse and an Anderson powerpole connection, 73
@@vk2ter Thank you, James. Is this device used in all of your DC power supplies or just used with this particular battery/radio combination?
@gordonmiller4439 The power cable that came with the radio already had the toroid installed. I normally don’t add toroids to power cables. I do use them on audio cables (headphones) and USB cables to reduce RF noise, 73
@@vk2ter Thanks for this info and I do enjoy all of your videos! 73 de Gordon
