    Dealers are struggling and they are cutting corners which isn’t in our favor. They don’t want to budge on price as well. That’s why a lot will be out of business by the end of the year.

    Man I feel your pain, I had a similar situation and still dealing with a dealership to fix problems on a car I got, fortunately when I purchased it we had it in writing these issues would get resolved but it's been a lengthy process. In my experience, you can get good deals with smaller independent dealerships but most of their inventory is from auto auction and it's a crap shoot. The safest bet is to work with a large dealer who's main business is new car sales, they will just get trade-ins and they only keep the really good ones, they send everything else to auction. Yes you are paying a bit of a premium but the car is in better condition as they will go through a more thorough inspection. I've been lucky and only had 1 bad experience so far

    Great video - Yea I take the cars to my mechanic, its a pain and cost money but you get the cars inspected. The dealers don't look over the cars at all, they might do a basic safety inspection. Yea its on the customer to ensure everything is working before you sign, it sucks but its the way it is. I looked at one Honda civic that was "Honda Certified" my mechanic found oil seeping.

    • @Reverend-Race-Horsey
      @Reverend-Race-Horsey 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most dealers don't allow you to take the car to a mechanic, unless you offer a non-refundable "deposit". You can bring a mechanic 🧰 with you though!But you have to read the Google reviews prior to going there or you're wasting your time because you know something's gonna be wrong with most of the damned cars!

      Yeah I didn't say all dealerships but this is just my experience from the dealers I delt with lately, but it don't matter if the vehicle is used or not, it should be inspected and service before the vehicle is listed for sale, and the vehicle should be clean, gas on full, and fluids top during purchase!

  • @Kbeezy_
    @Kbeezy_ 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    You have to require 2 keys, full gas & clean vehicle prior to signing paperwork or demand them take it off the price. Every salesman will fill up gas to close the deal but must ask.
    However never be afraid to work away from deal. And take a Scan Tool before or have them do a full diagnostic and
    add in the sold as is deal document section Dealership verify a diagnostic and will reimburse for any mechanical issues within 30 days. So you make sure you’re protected.

    You have to really do your research and homework before you buy from used car dealerships. Before you even arrive there to buy, you should be 95% sure that you are getting a good vehicle. The last 5% is you bringing a mechanic just to make sure.

  • @marccddiaz

    Problem with used cars and dealerships is that they will spend as least as possible on their inventory to have a fast turn around supply, another thing can be these 100k + mile cars you are buying and sending straight to the line , every fluid and inspection should be done on your behalf to secure an efficient car while being rented, yes you will spend more money at first but these cars bring in 100 dollars plus per day money will come back to you….

      @Reverend-Race-Horsey 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Tony, the dealer should inform you of these issues firsthand, yes. But, the dealer should not fix the car...this is why it's priced the way it is. You either fix it yourself or bring it to a cheap mechanic or you already have a hired full-time mechanic employee working for you privately!
