I got Aurora at around 40 rolls after starting. Then I went 420 cubes before pulling EDINBURGH. Aurora used to be a massive game changer during the big gun RN meta because it meant that she could debuff an IJN DD scout fleet for your cannons to hit. Nowadays, with the amount of CAs and CBs floating around in pvp because of Aurora's presence, I find that Formidable and Centaur buffed with Sirius and Queen is enough to wipe a scout fleet out completely. I mean, there's a lot of chain smokers available but none of them are meta these days and even less (ie none) are IJN which on the JP server makes up the bulk of whoever I fight.
That being said I wish I had a means to reverse counter Aurora, without using Aurora. At the moment, its because her prey disappeared that's why she disappeared, rather than something which could eat her alive (I suppose there's Mountain Momma Azuma).
I get what you mean. If she's combined with Belfast, it turns into a "well I guess I have to use that combo to for even ground". On a side note, a lot of my fights I did for this video Admiral Graf Spee helped out a lot. Pocket Battleship took both Belfast and Aurora out quick. She was also usually my last ship in vanguard standing because I'd use the dodge auxiliaries on her.
Wasn't aware Aurora's evasion reducing skill had no affect in pve. I never really paid much attention to it and assumed it would just reduce the chance enemy dd evade in pve as well. (skill using her tho because she's precious)
But then again, Aurora can be played differently, I got mine at Lv. 115 and she works good even at higher Stages. And I usually use her most at event stages.
7:50 she doesn't synergize with other ships, *but* you could combo her with a certain lolicon and with helena to cripple enemy ships. Good setup? No, troll set up? Maybe.

i return to playing Azur lane, after absence for 2 years from JP sever. i joined lexington sever this week. weird been rolling some light to get cleve bro, and watashi wa numba wan hasnt appear to me. i even got aurora by chance. even got yukikaze and atago for my few first 5 star. this second account is really weird.
I mostly just take the Vladof approach to deal with smokescreens. "You don't need to be a better shot, you just need to shoot more bullets." So between Laffy, London, and probably something else that starts with L, I think I've got enough Dakka for something to stick.
You can use her along with Sendai who to reduce even more evasion for Nagato + Akaga backline, or use with heavy torpedo ships(like Ibuki) for pre-torp battle. Also i bought her violin skin and have no regret.
I've been waiting for your thoughts on Yukikaze ever since Visitors Dyed in Red Rerun that happened during the last week of March. She's still the 27th ship on the list so the earliest date for her video would be May 23 2020. Nice.
i'll give ya a short run down: she's the tankiest DD by far thanks to her skill. So, while DDs in PvE are not really recommended in later chapters, she is the exception to the rule. And in PvP can be paired with ayanami and jintsuu because Yukikaze has pretty good Torpedo damage.

She's my favorite CL overall in PVP and pvm despite people not using her being "average" . let's say you can use Aurora in two different scenarios. PVP: aurora is fitting for fast and aggressive setup. technically Nakaga Setup. this is perfect these days especially most people use CL and yukikaze a lot. only few people use CA like Saint lou and Ibuki. sometimes, pairing her with sirius will do devastating airstrike to vanguard leading to vanguard die super quickly. or for maximum and unrelenting pain, with sendai kai. we can call this "hyper aggressive nakaga"(i should do it but i got lazy getting sendai. though still, i can't removed aurora because evasion is a pain). other setup that aurora will fit is on Formidable, QE,Monarch set up (so that the shots won't missed and again, fast killing) and other setup is Namahiryuu if your vanguard is having problem shooting the fast enemies. Aurora is your direct counter to Yukikaze since Yuki is a big massive threat(she's tougher than the pr ships xD). on PVM. i recommend her as mob fleet. although i advice putting her on the middle. the reason you might want to use him is for fast clearing. other than that. nothing else.
Can do your thoughts on Wichita? She seems to be an little appreciated cruiser (though I still have no idea why they gave a heavy cruiser, with a near Baltimore armor scheme, 'light' armor....)

Personally though i found her useful in as far as W11 And jintsuu being a CL she can also be good to bring in 10-4...grinded Neptune with her alongside Belfast and London retro in those stages with nice results..but then again it's just my personal experience She being a light armor might also take advantage since it reduces torp damage so i think she still has some chance against that jintsuu aya yuki setup...not entirely sure since i haven't tried myself yet but well.. Though yeah if you'll put up a poll about whether mob or boss i'd go with mob fleet due to personal experience (unless the boss is a CL or DD like in 10-4) One other idea that came to my mind after watching this vid is actually pairing Cinnamon roll with Helena and one other tank/nuker/Belfast probably. Her reduced evasion + helena's debuff when timed perfectly with backlines like Formidable or Owari da..can put up some serious damage numbers in there...just a crazy idea since i'm mostly an IJN player but who knows..might work for others XD I'd like to thank you for this vid..gave me new assignments to try now that i finished all season 1 PR

Jitsu and Ayanami heh easy just equip Juneau with bulge and tears Aurora with Beaver + boiler Siruis with gold hydraulic + boiler + carrier main i would suggest enterprise centaur and taihou
hawky boi heres my suggestion, i use cinnamon roll on W8 hard mode since that map got DD boss then followed with graf spee and deu vanguard with bisko backline, since DD boss got high eva stats cinnamon roll is a good choice pocket bb buff + eva reduce buff is damn good, sit back and relax as you reduce that boss HP.......watching it for me was satisfying lol

Even her first skill only procks when Indy is present ;p Doing sister ships together is a common trope in your videos . Only sadistic person would let Portland suffer alone >.

I feel HMS is underpowered the only ships you see being used are Warpsite, Monarch, Belfast, Formi and Perseus, the rest of them are pretty much never used :(
I don't mention much in regards to equipment because I don't fully understand the system myself. From what I can tell, it seems that the same equipment can be used for a lot of ships as well. I'd rather understand that better first.

Aurora works well for DD/CL bosses. One good example was Helena Meta, as she was almost always in the most damaging setups.
I got aurora at random, makes me kinda sad because i spent so much for jean bart and didnt got her when she was available.

My pvp front has belfast and javelin retro, mc hammer "cant touch this" plays . And sandy to erase enemy aircraft.
I feel HMS is underpowered the only ships you see being used are Warpsite, Monarch, Belfast, Formi and Perseus, the rest of them are pretty much never used :(

I don't mention much in regards to equipment because I don't fully understand the system myself. From what I can tell, it seems that the same equipment can be used for a lot of ships as well. I'd rather understand that better first.
