I knew i remembered those but cudnt quite figure out where from. I actually first played Cave Story literally 13 yrs ago; cuz a friend in college, Fudgie was what i called them, put me onto it and let me play it on their tiny laptop that was practically an ipad but actually comfy to use and with a decent sized keyboard despite bein so tiny. So those memories were locked well away from me by now yet re-remembered them thanks to your pointin out the game that i knew those images reminded me of.
