To top it off, one of the workers took his shirt off and dove in after it trying to chase it down. He came back empty-handed of course. This market is constantly in action.

No animals are better off in well-funded zoos. They get regular meals in zoos, no hunting, and no starving to death. Animals get medical treatment and security inside zoos. In the wild sea lions are heavy hunted by sharks and killer whales. In most cases, animals don't get eaten alive in zoos. As long as their in separate areas.

They don't get enough stimulation, ie. they swim circles inside their small tanks for hours. It's just not healthy for them

Some wild animals in certain coutries are so used to get food directly from humans, that they almost completely lost the ability to hunt. I mean. Why hunt when humans hunt for you? Either steal or act cute, and you'll get a free meal every time. 🤷
