With the partial cross stitch, I’d just sell it and continue to look for the proper chart. No point wasting time trying to fix this, in my view. Maybe see if you can have it custom charted?

With the stamped piece, you could match the floss colours but I am a little worried that the picture will become too pixelated, something to keep in mind. Love all your starts, I have quite a few planned for this month as it is my birthday month, I will look forward to seeing how you get on with yours. Big hug xxx

I would write the company that produced the cross stitching chart and let them know your displeasure. Maybe you can do an exchange? Companies are usually willing to work with you.
There are some lovely kits that are just embellished with cross stitch, and it’s so disappointing that they are not ‘proper’ cross stitch. I think you would lose the loveliness of the picture if you tried to stitch all over, it would look pixelated and you wouldn’t be able to get the subtlety of the picture. You love the picture, so do it as it’s meant to be done and enjoy the finished result! Sparklies Bubblegum is one of my favourite colours!
Hi Gina, I am with you on this one... I think the beauty of the whole design will be lost if I start matching up colours...It would be difficult to do too as it's hard to see what exact colours are used for each stitch.
