Just to beautiful. I love Annie's white spot. Truly a magnificent looking Weime. I had a Weimaraner for almost 12 yrs. He died of spleen cancer.(he was 14) Everything about "Possum" was amazing,his mannerism,his kindness towards other dogs and cats. He was a journeying soul like myself. You have a great breed of dog. I have 3 weimaraners and they are very calm from what I have seen of others. They really do make great dogs. I love her white spot!! My male has one, but it has silver ticking in it. Her's is very eye catching. Great video and BEAUTIFUL dog. :)

The breeder docks the tails at about ten days old, before the pups have even opened their eyes. This is also a common practice with Australian shepherds and springer spaniels.
When Annie was barking at the mirror, my dog Casey got all excited and joined in. She won't bark when Husky's do, but when other Weimaraners bark she gets REALLY worked up.

When I was young we had a male Weim his name was Michael. Took him on the boat and to islands off the west coast of Florida. He was part of the family. My Elderly grandmother had his brother Peter. Both were just like night and day. Mike was a grey while Peter was a charcoal. Pete was like a old man all his life. Calm and reserved, perfect 👌 for my grandmother 👵. He got to fat because she fed him to much. He was so happy. He knew my voice at the doors when I would come and visit. Now my family has a female, what a pistol!!! To smart for her own good. She will pull the leash out of my sons hand , then let it retract. Then pick it up and walk herself. She does not run away but comes back in carrying the handle of the leash in her mouth. Anything that even looks like a stuffed animal 🧸 or toy is fare game. She is one year old.

Nice weimaraner, I got one too, but see people that all think "I want a weimaraner, they're so cute", don't forget it's a pure HUNTING and working dog, don't underestimate the amount of energy, it needs some hours of RUNNING every day, great dogs as long as they can loose their energy and hunting passion in apporting or real hunting, on 2:45 is the true calling of the weim :)
Yeah, NEVER play tug-a-war teaches them bad habits feed them once at breakfast with a small treat (they like hot dogs chopped up and put in microwave for a few seconds and it's healthy) once at lunch with a handful of puppy food and same at dinner
Scorpisces Amazing dog, I dont think am gonna for any other breed. They have very human like personality. very loving and attached specially to their owners like a velcro. They have separation anxiety, hence crate training would be a good idea. Kid friendly my weim just love kids. Can be little stubborn sometimes. hence training when puppies is very important. Also owners have be very assertive from the beginning otherwise could get difficult to behave. Excellent breed. Very less health issues(hip dyspalsia - hence dont spay or neuter early wait till atleast 14 mths old and gastric torsion - they are very prone to this one just like any other deep chested breed) . Life span 12-14 yrs. hope this helps.

If you want to get a Weimaraner, you must know that it is a hunting breed and they can be truly happy only when hunt. They needs lots of excercise too. Try to go somewhere to hunt where some hunters have the Weimaraner and see how happy they are. It can not be replaced by anything. Good luck!

no thank you I agree it's horrible to cut off your dogs tail especially one as beautiful as a weims but there tails are like whips and hurt any one standing near alot when they get to happy 😂😂 But still there are no excuses
Some people actually get their dogs tails docked so they dont break them if they hot something when they get excited or are running around, therefore they will be in less pain.
I whish cropping the tail was still legal in Holland. I have a Weimaraner mix named Connor (th-cam.com/video/2YwwD6YZ60g/w-d-xo.html) who's tail is bleeding often. They call it "Happy tail". Horrible. Hope they never luminol our house. PS: Love your dog!
