Excellent job Simone! I was thinking a cotton swab (like what you use to clean your ears) with a bit a lithium grease for the wooden part that flips out would help get it in there. Ingenious for using what you have at hand, well done!
I doff my cap to you young lady. I admire you as you get stuck in, get your hands dirty and do a ruddy good job. Would have loved to bump into you at POL. Hopefully at next year's one. Keep up the great work and to think you're a biker chic too. Gawd I'd love a woman like you.
Isn't the reason they only have them on the passenger side as standard that they swing out in the way of your legs if you're driving a manual? It's not a problem for you with an auto.
@@CortinasAndClassics he’s correct. The removal of the driver’s cup holder had nothing to do with Project Drive, they were deleted on early Cowley cars due to too many warranty returns being broken on the driver’s side.
Lovely job Simone 🚗🚙🚘👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well done Simone, that is a nice unique addition to your car.
Thanks Dusty
It’s the little things Simone that give us the greatest satisfaction! Nice work 👍
Its the little things like this that makes it more complete like it should be happy for you !
Absolutely Bill, thanks for watching 🙂
Excellent job, I find interior trim work very satisfying, when successful
Thank BB, very satisfied with the result.

@@CortinasAndClassics You're most welcome!
Nice one Simone looks good 😊
Thanks Ali
That's the world's most complicated cup holder 😂
Looks good 👍
Yeah it's quite overly engineered.
An artist paint brush would be good for painting grease on all the cogs and runners
I might just do that peter

Looks like your Rover 75 is a posh one with rear sunblind and heated seats Simone....Bob...
One down from top of the range Bob.
I'd like a Rover SD1 and a 75 Simone! Mac.
So what size cups have you got !?
🤣🤣

I don't think so.

What is raer , the only Problem is its a different country status ie if the Rover 75 is sold in Germany then you have the other side as standed
That's odd you only get a cup holder on passenger side
It was only removed after MG/Rover started project drive to dave money and they cut back on parts.
