I remember hitting rock bottom my sophomore year. My ex gf cheated on me and left me, kids at school were sneaking me and jumping me nonstop until i got kicked out of my old school, and when i did none of my “friends” even thought to check in on me after i basically disappeared, and beyond that half of my fights were with my “friends”. There was about a 6 month period during my sophomore year between my old school and my new school and I remember being alone, completely alone. I started smoking every single day to numb the pain and ontop of that I got a job, started working out, started training my sports seriously, started studying psychology and people, and doing a bunch of other stuff to get my life together. Ontop of boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, and training jiu jitsu i started taking school seriously at my new school, started and ran my new school’s chess club, and then my new school’s “best hitter” tried fighting me over a girl i didn’t even want and i beat tf outta him and everyone stopped messing with me for good. This song was on my “🍃🍄” playlist that I listened to every day when i smoked and really brings back the nostalgia of getting through the struggle. It’s funny looking back on all my highs in life i look back and cringe but looking back at all my lows i feel nostalgia and somehow miss the lows. I’m now a senior getting ready to graduate as well as getting certified in 2 trades (Hvac and Welding) as well as preparing to going to college to double major in physics and psychology as well as pursue college wrestling with plans to eventually make the ufc.
