Hello! Currently sitting at 1k views which is incredible honestly. I honestly didn't know this would have any kind of reach, this is somewhat meaningful to me because while it might not take me any kind of unique talent to be able to do this, I find it fun to explore music in reimagined ways and after discovering the work other creators have done to remix FFVII songs with OoT soundfonts, I started having my own visions and ideas. Zelda and Final Fantasy are a big part of my life both the games and their OSTs. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and FFVII were a big part of my childhood as they would have been for many people and now Final Fantasy XIV has had a similar lasting impact on me and it feels so full circle to feel the nostalgic vibe of childhood but told through a composition of a song that impacted me the same way in my modern life. I'm happy to hear people enjoyed this, I had a lot of fun working on it. I would absolutely love to work on more FFXIV remixes!
I didn't know you could make Answers more depressing. This really makes it feel like the end of the world is here, there nothing we can do about it and we just sitting here watching it resigned to the fact we all about to die. Well done!
This comment makes me emotional because it feels like the vision I had when I had the idea to make Answers in this soundfont came through the same to you. It suddenly made sense to make such a correlation between the themes of Majora's Mask and FFXIV. I'm glad you among others have enjoyed it!
Nice! I do miss some the high notes of the original song (mainly the singer belting out high notes), but I imagine it might be too jarring to the ear using OOT/MM soundfonts. Good work still! :)
