The owners manual for Newmar coaches recommends you extend your slides first after checking the gap or reveal and then deploy the leveling jacks. When retracting your slides, retract your jacks and then retract your slides. Other brands may be different but this change to the procedure was first implemented in 2015 for Newmar coaches.

There is no need to flip all the breakers on the panel if you are only using one of them.

    1. Always level BEFORE deploying Slides!
Level First with Chassis engine running to ensure enough power to operate the leveler jacks.
Auto level tends to raze the RV too high, Best to manually level.
    2. Hook up electrical.
    a. Turn off breaker(s) on the power pedestal.
    b. Plug in EMS or Surge protector only, DO NOT plug in coach yet!
    c. Turn on breaker for the circuit you plugged the protector.
    d. Verify good power indicated on EMS or Surge protector.
    e. Turn off breaker.
    f. Plug in coach power cable.
    g. Turn on breaker.
    3. Hook up sewer hose. (Stinky Slinkey)
    4. Hook up fresh Water connection.
    5. Trun off generator.
    6. Extend slides. Extend the slides last because you may need to access basement compartments while making all your hookups. Having slide open will make that harder.

No water pressure regulator or filter? Does this have one internally attached? Also, I've never had an issue with my Auto-level.

good way to mess up your slide outs. always level out your rig first then bring out your slides. Thousand Trails is the only way to go.
