Best 11 who have never played in the Champions or Europa League
i would love to see this player
would be a good idea, but maybe best players who have never played in champions league or europa league in europe? I feel like that would fit better or else it would be pretty much a full south american 11
Pele, Garrincha, Carlos Alberto, Elias Figueroa, Jose Luis Chilavert, Hector Chumpitaz, Landon Donovan, Martin Palermo, Jairzinho.
@@nicolaslatorre810 lol. One of these doesn't fit with the others.
@@nicolaslatorre810 lmao I meant current players
The top worst premier league kits of the 21st century
man city's new kits, all of them
Man City's last Nike kits were acc pretty nice, dunno about their Puma kits so far tho
Brendan Rodgers yes I’m talking about puma kits for the upcoming season, this current seasons aren’t THAT BAD. However, as a city I believe we took Nike for granted
The Newcastle yellow away monstrosity
Any kit that has a pink goalkeeper's jersey! It's like watching a six and a half foot blancmange between the sticks!
#8 Brian Fernandez- Timbers 2019. Scored in his first 8 games and came with a record price tag. The rest of the season saw him “out with the flu” while he still showed up at the stadium to watch games. Turns out he was back to doing coke and become toxic in the locker room. Now he’s out of a job, Timbers can’t get their money back and the league is suing his old club :)
I think we got a lot of money back because mls sued liga mx
Day 4: 7 Biggest clubs to have never won major silverware/7 Smallest clubs to have won major silverware
Yusuf Kassim that is a good one
the rangers if you consider them a ‘big club’
Pretty sure he’s done that
Totnum
Radja Addakhiel you mean Tottenham
The player from each country who has scored the most premier league goals
Done already no?

7 players who made their club biggest financial loss when sold.
I.e. Andy Carroll loss £20M
Newcastle did quite well out of him but yes I’d like to see this list done
Philadelphia fan here. MBolhi was one of the worst keepers I've seen in MLS, watch his last game for the club before he got sacked...ugh, Nam flashbacks. (I'd say the U player most likely to make this list would be Kleberson or Fernando Aristeguieta, though Kleberson is semi-off the hook for that freekick against Toronto)
Our old CEO Nick Sackiewicz had a weird fetish for keepers, it was a big MLS meme at the time, he was boasting at MBolhi's intro that we had 3 of the best players in the league at that position...I'm not joking. He was sacked in 2015 after Rais was exiled and his stake in the club was bought out (he's now commissioner of a box lacrosse league), and we've had GK stability ever since with Blake and we've got a couple prospects in Matt Freese and Tomas Romero waiting.)
Some of my other thoughts on guys who could/should have made it, IMO:
-Anibal Chala should've been on here, he was a DP with zero MLS minutes played, ever. Dallas is real bad with DPs because Cristian Colman was terribad too (41gp/4g as a center forward)
-André Horta cost 6.6m from Benfica and his most notable moment in MLS was gifting LA Galaxy a goal in an El Trafico.
-Alongside Kaka, Orlando's two first-season DPs were both dreadful, Bryan Rochez and Carlos Rivas.
-New England's got a few duds too. Jerry Bengtson, Xavier Kouassi, Claude Dielna...oof
-Outside of Gashi's first season (which included the Goal of the Year as well as another banger in the playoffs against LAG that was even better) Colorado's DP history is garbage. Howard was washed, rest were mediocre at best
Still not a bad list, glad to see some MLS content on this channel (& I'd enjoy more!), which is one of my favorites. Fun fact: Rafa Marquez's last act in MLS was him getting sent off in the playoffs in the most Metro loss to DC, ever.
Colorado also had Juan Ramirez, who did pretty much nothing for them. FCD had Andres Escobar and Pablo Aranguiz. DC had Rafael Gladiador (1 goal in 7 games). Lucas Ontivero did nothing of real note in Montreal and 3 season later was playing for Orlando's B team in USL League One (third division). NYRB had Omer Damari come over on loan from RB Leipzig and managed 0 goals in only 4 games. Jeferson could barely get on the field for SKC. And in Seattle, Christian Tiffert barely lasted a year while Nelson Valdez managed one league goal in a year and a half (scored on his debut, no less). Valdez managed to go on and actually score in the playoffs though so that may redeem him somewhat.
Also, M'Bohli was never officially classified as a designated player. His salary in 2014 was listed at 240k and the only report of a transfer fee was only in the 400k range. So terrible player for us (Union fan here) but actually doesn't belong on this list.
I still get nightmares from Mbolhi’s set piece orgy vs SKC

Could you show us your 7 favourite DP's, footballing or otherwise
Really interesting. I wonder what who the best are.
google’s *Best Ever DP*
Oh......
Hahaha well who won?
Riley Reid
Must be Lana Rhodes
Piper Perri
The reason DP players get so much criticism is because they are 1 out of only 3 players that are paid excessively more than the rest of the team, so if you sign a striker with a salary of $1,000,000 but can’t find the back of the net, he will be ripped apart by fans.
For example, some NYCFC fans would say Frank Lampard was our worst DP signing of all-time because he spent more time injured on the sidelines as opposed to on the field. When he was on the pitch, he was a goal-scoring machine, but fans don’t want to hear that their club spent millions on a player that’s injury-prone.
The designated player rule sure is a controversial one, but that’s why there’s no top 6 teams in MLS. That’s why every year there’s a different winner for the supporters shield, MLS cup and US open cup.
We've almost got Alfie to 300K.
All Southampton FC strikers since Rickie Lambert, where are they now?

Oh Shaun Maloney, I used to call him bottom table Wayne Rooney
I always thought he was a neat player.
Him and Mark Davies of Bolton.
Wayne Rooney is and was atrocious. He's just a poundshop Maloney.

Scenario: The Yugoslavia War never happened and neither did COVID-19. Euro 2020 is going ahead this summer and Yugoslavia have qualified. Who would be in your 23 man squad? There's no 'the' before MLS. It's not 'the Major League Soccer'.
Best USA exports to play in a Top 5 League
7 Best MLS Designated Players of all time.
I worked as an usher for FC Dallas when Denilson signed. Before games he would put on a show of his ball handling skills that impressed fans and teammates alike. Once the game started he couldn't kick the ball twice without giving it away or falling down. Truly dreadful.
I should mention that as an earthquakes fan, innocent had an acl injury which is why he barely played after scoring that goal
For the best 7 DP you gotta include Nacho Piatti. He was the only source of creativity at Montreal Impact from 2014 to 2019. He formed great partnerships with amazing and terrible players, like Drogba or Matteo Mancosu. Without him we would have never reached the CCL final in 2015 or the Conference Final the year after. I could go on forever and ever, you get the point. Way better signing than Drogba or anyone else.
Piatti is constantly underated

XI of the best players who retired in the MLS
You don't retire if you still so get that b*******out of here
What about David Arshekian or Gilberto? Both for Chicago Fire, both worse than Maloney.
Arshakayan wasn't a DP. He was worthless but he wasn't a DP. And Gilberto had 5 goals and 3 assists in 20 games. Chicago actually has quite a few that could land on this list. Nery Castillo did absolutely nothing in 8 games, Juan Anangono had 4 goals and 1 assist in 27 games, and Frederico Puppo had 1 assist in 11 games (1 start) and 216 total minutes. Least this year they have a few players that actually have recently done something in a league people have heard of.
I would have put Alfredo Ortuno for RSL on this list... Earned $1m in 6 months while playing a grand total of 119 minutes. 0 goals, 0 shots on target, 0 shots for a forward.
Thank you you did a good job with this seven 😊 🇺🇸

Great video! Watching from San Jose, CA and I am an Earthquakes fan who hasn't forgotten about Emeghara and his lifeless performances.
He only had one stroke of brilliance against the Flounders, and then he was through. It was awesome being there in Seattle when he shut everyone up with that wonder goal.

hardly call it backwards compared to other countries
Yeah but compared to most developed countries UK and especially the US are very backwards especially when the US president is a known sex offender, reality star, and had an ongoing case against abusing a 13 year old girl. That is more than backwards in most places.

Denilson was pretty much a disappointment everywhere he went. I mean, this is a guy that was once the most expensive player in the game. Yet, the guy basically only knows how to do stepovers. Never learnt to do anything else
He was well known for being lazy long before he went to the states
How about 7 best Brazilian players that never made the national team? I wanna see you talk about Ailton :D
Dede only had one cap for Brazil, but was a good player from BVB.
Actually the Mboli saga was he was a DP but for a brief time when they were techincally allowed to "buy down" his salary to no longer make him a DP, it was a really wierd scenario but I do remember his game against the Chicago Fire he was a DP, this was however a time when Philly had an injury bug with their goalkeeprs if I remember correctly he was basically a desperation signing at the time.
Now for the Shaum Maloney signing, as a Chicago Fire fan i was close to the team and Maloney could never get use to the travel in fact there were times were he would basically sleep a whole day after traveling away to a game, this caused him to be sluggish in practice and at times when i talked to him 1 on 1 looked like he was about to fall asleep. He could never adjust to the US travel and for that his morale and performances declined fast, it was sad to see. I have a ton of Fire stories from a lot of players
The quarantine has me down bad if I got the joke immediately when he said googling dp
