    the thing is not to don't care about what other think (of course you need to care) the real key is not to RELY on other's oppinion (feeling good when they give you a good reaction,feeling beta when not,defining your personality based on their judgements)

    • @Mastouril
      @Mastouril 8 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      +Nicolae Spataru I was looking for this comment. I absolutely agree. "Not caring" is such a teenage way to say it, right? People who actually don't care are criminals and psychopaths lol.
      Not RELYING is the right way. Of course it's good to care!

      We all still feel good when we get a good reaction of course, the thing is to continue being ourselves and not change just because we want to be more "liked" but at the expense of our true self and values.

    Guys, I'm the dude who asked the question. To clear some things up, this video wasn't about picking up girls or singing in public. The purpose of my message was to find out how to truly transcend inhibitions and filters. To feel capable of expressing how I feel and doing what I want when I want. I'm sure I'm not the only one who admires Frank's ability to walk around in a tight, half pink shirt that says "I

    What worked for me, is becoming my own mentor and best friend. You always look after your best friend and as a mentor you let your pupil practice and you guide him through it. You need knowledge, but not more than yourself, if you know what I mean. You observe and adjust.

    If he would express his messages or thoughts like this more straight foreword I think I would benefit a lot more and understand him more. It's not that I don't like his other metaphorical crazy videos with different stuff to inflict thought in the name of art and all that it's just that I can't always see the message or thing he trying to express to show to the viewer. Maybe he does it so that he can see us debate over something that didn't mean anything at all for his satisfaction, something that maybe society disapproves of or taboo's. It's not that I don't like to think about stuff like this either I love listen to conscious rap that has metaphors and try to find it's real meaning, mm.. Food album by mf doom for example but idk. I only watched for the first time today and maybe I'm just a noob to his stuff and it will take time to adjust. Ultimately, I do think frank is very wise and looks at stuff at completely different angle.

      I like these Videos too, and I understand those more too, BUT I really like the feeling of getting mind-fucked, and not knowing what the hell is going on and how any of that makes sense. I think what you need to do while watching those is to stop making sense of anything and just going along with the "nonsense"
      I sometimes NEED this feeling of wtf and feeling lost, to actually understand things better, so that how I feel about those videos.

    I don’t like it when my mind feels imprisioned by other peoples opinion . I also feel trapped in a paradox . Where I know there is a higher self of being but I don’t want to feel mentally inprisioned by it. Sometimes I’ll take a criticism constructively but feel really hurt when it challenges my ego. And for a while I’ll be really confused and have my ego fragmented. I know a friend of mine whos really weird and fucked up and he causes the strongest mind fucks in me . He will do things to confuse me and belittle my ideas. Sometimes I allow him because I like it when ppl challenge my mind and cause me to think outside myself. but yeah I think we all struggle to not care what people think while also striving to find identity and purpose inside of ourself and our life. And to stand out and be different . Thank you frank for this talk it was really enlightening !

    The end was particularly interesting for me. Overall, I have always been a loser. Everything I have is from other people. And thus I attempted suicide by poisoning, but survived.
    Afterwards, I approached life from a nihilistic point of view, and when something didn't go my way I would get upset. It then occurred to me how silly it was to expect everything I do to go my way. So now, I don't worry about asking girls out, because I know I am ugly, and weird. In fact, I am more uneasy when things DO go right for me. because it is new.
    But I am not confident because I do not care what people think of me. I do not get upset when I don't get a job or the house I wanted. I do not get upset when someone crashes into me. Not because I do not care, because i'm still going to get the problems sorted. But because I can take another loss in my life, and I can handle it, and I am going to get through it regardless of what happens.
    A lot of times people settle for becoming passive. Which does no-one any favours.
    Those who wrong should be put back in their place, and those wronged should learn to be the one that puts them back in their place.
    On the subject of "Not caring about what people think". Think more along the lines of "So what if it doesn't go right. I still ain't dead.".
    I might be wrong.
    But I don't see how that's going to effect me if I am.

    its all about to the degree with which you care...for the most part I think people care way to much. What other people think of you shouldn't stop you from doing what you love and what your passionate about. It shouldn't stop you from expressing yourself in the way you want.

  • @helloMRdj1
    @helloMRdj1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think the best way to not give a fuck is to accept yourself as you are. Why would anything bother you if youre 100% comfortable with yourself? That and the practice Frank talked about, will make you pretty confident.

    I think a way to not care about what people think in my case is too get aesthetics and quit fapping. Practically everyone says that you notice girls noticing you more when you are not fapping; I have other reasons for quitting, and almost guaranteed to see girls staring at you when you are in my ideal case bigger and looking shredded. This in my opinion will boost your self confidence and you will start talking to them more and that will transfer on to more and more girls. You would become more social and do other activities which would build you as a person more. I don't no how that relates to not caring what people think, but I feel that you will develop confidence with this technique and become yourself more. Just a matter of getting to that point

    • @Sheikhsepic
      @Sheikhsepic 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      But why does not fapping make you more aware of girls that notice you?

    • @ImReadyD151
      @ImReadyD151 10 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      ***** I'm not quite sure, but if you ever read forums on NoFap, people who do it right always mention that they notice girls looking at them more. You become a bit more aware of it as I have heard

    • @Juggernautfitnes
      @Juggernautfitnes 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ImReadyD151 First when i read your comment i was like this is some utter bullshit. But as i sat down and thought about your statement it kind of makes sense. By not fapping you will automaticly be more horny and that will make you look at girls more and notice any slight hints of acceptance. Im actually going to try even though i know i can't survive with out fapping or ejaculating.

      You need money to get jacked. Its not just working out (as im sure you know), it also has a lot of eating heavy shit rich in protein and what not... Which is GUAP💸.. Only reason im still in that "athletic-but-not-jacked" type of body frame. Also, not wackin it takes a lot of self discipline. Something not a lot of people have. Shit, i still fap(maybe not as much when i was single, but still) even though i have a girl. Its hella addictive.

    能不能不在乎別人的看法?-法蘭克
      答案是無法,你沒辦法不在乎別人的看法,因為我們永遠都處在「在乎」的狀態。而那些不承認自己在乎其他人意見的人,他們其實特別在乎別人的看法。下面是我部落格的文章,我想這能夠更詳細的解答你的問題:
     我不懂,為什麼有人總是努力的想要「做自己」?
      彷彿有一個堅定的自我(核心) ,能讓你有權去依照所謂的「自己」來扮演。但人類的心靈是非常複雜的、各式各樣的:你應該在不同的人面前、在不同的情景下「演」出不同的你自己,因為不斷變化正是自我的本質。
      實際上我不應該用本質這個字眼去描述自我,因為自我永遠無法捕捉。無論你何時想要去抓住或握住它,它都會從你的指間溜走,換句話說,核心的自我,或說核心的自我意識,是根本不存在的。所以為何要一直演出某一種風格,就像堅持一個不存在的錯覺一樣,而不是讓它自由變換呢?有些人總是維持同樣的身分認同,然後把他們的錯覺當作成做自己的展現,並且因為自己很真實的在「做自己」驕傲,這些人其實是真正的假。因為當你在不同的情景下,你就無法完全一樣。如果你覺得你可以一直飾演完全一樣的人,對我來說就是你在自以為是。
      即使如果我們的精神核心有一個自我,我認為每天一直去表現成一個同樣的人,這件事愚蠢地無聊,而且還非常累。如果要讓我來想一個最無用的二元化以及歸類,那就會是「把自我分類成真或假」的這件事情了。如果你可以在不同的環境下適應不同的情況,那就更加有趣,有創造力和活潑,因為這種靈活性和適應能力是使我們成為人類的原因,因此要做一個完整的人類就是一個,不斷地演著一個成其他人的角色。人在社會上是一直不斷自動遞補似的扮演著。
      自我只能透過其他人來形成:透過其他人的眼睛,以及觀點和意見。每一個說他「根本不鳥其他人的看法」的人,那些藉由演著「真實的自己」而覺得他們很做自己的人──不只假,也自私,還妄自尊大。因為我們不同身分的認同是與其他人互動時形成,所以我們需要其他人的觀點以及意見去完整我們本身,讓我們更豐富、更成熟,所以那一些,不理會其他人的意見,覺得要扮演一種彷彿像:「我他媽不在乎別人對我的想法」 的人是最真的XXX。
      他們實際上在乎別人的意見,因為在他們要演得他們好像不在乎的最開始,他們知道他們是在乎的,這就是為什麼他們要這樣演﹝他們這些人多數都說的很肯定,而這就是他們的企圖,他們跑來跑去告訴著別人說「我他媽不在乎其他人對我的看法」﹞他們想要讓別人覺得他們不在乎其他人的看法,這種人對我來說比考慮接受別人意見,並依照其他人所想去演出的人還更假,還更裝模作樣。
      因為這種人偽裝的行為﹝一副我不在乎別人的態度﹞是雙重折疊,是悖論,是自相矛盾的,而且最終是自毀前程。同時他們的主張也是不可能的。不管是你在何時何地,如果你想要藉由對聽眾的忽略以及打折扣,把其他人的意見丟掉,以至於讓你能夠演出「你自己」,那麼,你就是在臆斷一個事實:在你表現「我不在乎其他人」的這個態度的最一開始之前(或之後),必須有一個人,讓你去「不在乎」。
      所以對於那些因為自己太酷了所以無法去「他媽的在乎一下別人的想法」、驕傲於做自己的人……幹你娘。

    It's to do with evolution as well. Before, we lived in small groups and tribes. Once you were seen to be weird, you most likely could never pass on your genes. That's why we care so much about what even random people think.

    Hey Frank. I like a lot of what you say. I disagree with your notion that it is impossible to not care. I think it is healthy to care, at least about the thoughts of those close to you. That said, I care very little about what others think now in comparison to just a year ago. I listen to my friends, but I do not live for them. Your argument seems to indicate behavior is reactionary. In any moment, however, you can actively and creatively choose anything to think and/or do.
